THESE lights I paid full price for and I LOVE them, then got more for rest of house via Vine. They add the perfect amount of light to my kitchen and look amazing. You can dim both the nightlight and the main light with a regular wall dimmer. I’m using Lutron Caseta wall dimmer and I can operate or schedule with my phone and a Pico remote (that is a feature of the dimmer, not the lights themselves)These lights are very easy to install, have a strong aluminum body, have a thin foam ring to hold tight to ceiling, the springs are very strong and the selectable color temperature on the box works perfectly. Everyone who walks into our kitchen asks about these lights. I also ordered the 6” version for other areas of the house. Both the nightlight and the main light are dimmable, you can not light both at the same time. Very easy operation with a regular wall switch or a dimmer switch. Turn on the light=main light. Turn off and immediately back on switches to the night light. This means- from the off position, you can not go straight to night light. This works fine for me because they are for kitchen/ dining area.I also contacted Amico with a question and they got back to me right away and were super helpful. I have reviewed dozens of different LED lights over the years and these are my favorite for quality, build, ease of install, and function. I used a 105mm (4”) hole saw for the drywall and the size was perfect & snug.I hope this review was helpful to your shopping.

I initially bought these because my big box store did not have the 12 unit box in stock. Upon receiving them, I was please that the installation was much easier because the box that holds the wires is larger than others. Easy to fold the wires into the box and close it. The wafer thin thickness works great in tight ceiling spaces. I had to nail 2 x2's to my ceiling before DW, and these lights fit nicely in the ceiling.I was so pleased with the nite-light feature, which casts a nice glow, that I bought another box of 12 to replace lights I had previously installed! At $100 for 12, they are MUCH cheaper than brands from the big box stores. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and extremely pleased with the install and overall performance and nite-light feature. I would buy and recommend these again.
