Recommended for descaling.
Haven't used as yet. This cleaning product was recommended to descale our new Tefal Hot Water Dispenser by the manufacturers, and that was also purchased from Amazon. On reading, it should have the cleaning power, last a long time, and definitely value for money.

Great cleaning power.
The cleaning power of this stuff is great. I use it mainly for the kettle as we are in a very hard water area and the limescale is terrible. It is easy to use and you can just pour as much as you need, Good value for money as you get 2 boxes and it lasts a while. There is no smell to it. You can alter the strength by using more or less product. Overall, very good!

Cheapest way to descale a kettle
Bought to descale my kettle because we live in a hard water area. As well as being pretty economical, citric acid is great for this and works just as well as other products which are more chemically in nature. It really is just a matter of boiling half a kettle of water, adding the crystals and waiting for half an hour or so, then rinsing/boiling several times. Voila, a nice shiny kettle! The only issue I've had is that the crystals absorb even the slightest moisture from the atmosphere so that the box ends up unpleasant and damp, which is why I've deducted a star. This doesn't seem to affect the effectiveness of the citric acid at all. Next time I'll just put the whole box into a plastic storage container as soon as I receive it which should solve the problem. Definitely worth keeping a box in stock, I'll happily buy it again.

If you hate using chemical laden endocrine disruptor products ...
My preference for natural cleaning, degreasing and limescale removal makes toilet bowl sparkle, mix with bicarb soda leave for a few hours for excellent results, add a few drops essential oil if liked I love lemongrass and tangerine for a fresh citrus smelling bathroom
