Squishy Face Flirt Pole V2 Orange/Yellow 36 inch

I have a high energy large crossbreed (working gsd x Portuguese Pointer) and bought the large version flirt pole for one of his Xmas presents. I have used it a few times now and he loves it! I put it in the car to play with after his walk (so he is warmed up) and it is AMAZING how well he listens to commands with this as a reward (he is not terribly food motivated). It definitely helps abate the ever present high energy!! Also seems very well made. It is light and easy to handle. Would love them to design a telescopic version to put in your pocket...he wouldn’t leave me alone if I took this one on the walk! Looks like I will be able to use in the garden, once the grass dries out a bit (his feet would tear it up in this wet weather!).

I’m so glad I decided to get the expensive version of this rather than a cheap one. As soon as I received it I knew it was the right choice. It’s really well made and robust and having a staffie that is pretty necessary. I can’t imagine a cheap one lasting with a Staffy. He loves chasing it and I’m confident it should last a good long while, with the right use. It’s a good way to teach some good manners, as well as burn off some energy. I don’t worry about the pole snapping in my hand or breaking should he try to chew it, or the cord breaking. Excellent item. Well worth the money. The wrist loop is handy. Great bit of training kit.

I actually bought this toy / training pole for my cavalier king charles - as she is a chaser ;) However, her energylevel seems to be too mellow overall to be entised by this toy. So I ended up gifting it to my parents and their 6 month old border terrier - and she looooves it! It works both as toy for exercise - burning off any excess energy. And because she loves it so much, it is the PERFECT lure toy to train sit/stay/ impulse control. And it seems very sturdy, even when the game turns into tug of war - at least for a small dog her size!

The item was well made but far too big to handle. It was returned.

My dog looooves this more than anything else in his life (including me!). He gets fixated on it as soon as it’s out. He used to love laser pointers but apparently they’re bad as the dog has no reward after catching them so this is a super good alternative as the dog can actually see and touch the toy on the end. It’s very well made, solid and strong. I have a 55kg mastiff/Rottweiler mix. He can tug on this and it doesn’t look like it’s gonna break - (but I do try to say leave it when he catches it and not let him tug as it isn’t meant for tugging)He loves chasing it round the garden and would go until he flopped down out of breath if I let him

Have got through 3 flirt poles so far in less then 6 months ! Rottweiler puppy managed to detach extending pole s . Finally spent more and got more . He drags it through the house to put it on my lap . We play for short bursts to run off his excess energy. As a growing dog it is good for dragging an attachment at ground level . Attachments can be bought . Good for getting him to leave an object . Pole is fixed . Very good value if it continues to stand up to hard use . Thank you bad news he chewed through cord ! They do not make replacements. So another one failed !

This item arrived day after I ordered it. We have a super excitable, strong and hyperactive dog. Still young,only a year and a few months ang getting him tired takes a lot of effort. Since he's a rescued pit bull, he can't be off the lead in public places. So he sadly doesn't get to run around and play with his friends in the park. This toy makes him loose at least a bit of energy and walks with him after we play are so much easier and more pleasant. He still has a tough time letting it go since it's squeaky, but he's getting there. With a bit of training he'll be releasing the lure straight away and get more chasing time. Definitely a great purchase. He does destroy all the regular toys and the lure is still intact, such is impressive, since he doesn't take long to destroy soft toys. I'm so glad that I paid more and got a great toy for our dog that gives him proper exercise and a some training as well!!!
