A wonderful, inspiring, life affirming and moving project. Songlines magazine recommended watching the dvd first before playing the two cds. I took their advice. Showed the film to my uncle and he bought a copy too.

Love love love
I had been wondering about buying this cd for some time, but thought it might be a bit naff. Then I heard one of the tracks which I liked so decided to buy the album. Its great listening and the dvd makes it more interesting to see the performers in their own spaces or in the studio. I wondered if it had been recorded to raise funds for people affected by the tsunami but it dosent say so. So it probably was a money making venture which is a bit sad. I hope the people featured got paid properly for their involvement. However the tunes and singing are blissful and there are some real gems. I particualry love Ya Allah but there isnt a bad track on the album. Its a genre that started with Deep Forest so the idea isnt new but good to have south Asian music take centre stage.

This DVD is both visually stunning and musically thrilling. Brilliant, evocative, inspirational, too beautiful to experience without emotional involvement. Be swept away by a tsunami of soul. Seeing and hearing the musicians, tne music they create and the images of the world they inhabit provide nourishment for the spirit. My words can't do it justice. Get some of this.

no words to describe the music quality, the feeling, the energy behind this CD... simply amazing... God was behind them guiding them, the only explanation... and they did it with heart and soul.
