Getting Over You

I love this book, I could relate so much with the authors feelings, while healing at the same time. I didn’t read all in one sitting. I read each stage/chapter base on how I’m feeling. Today I read the healing, because I was ready to read the last chapter as I know I’ve overcome and learned to let go. Thank you for this amazing book.

I genuinely liked this book. Not all pages spoke to me, but damn some of these sentences are spot on and really helped me move on from being hurt 💔❤️. A good healing book. Tend to keep it around almost like a security blanket haha - helps to remember you are important and to never settle.

I happened upon this book a few days after it was published, and I’m so glad in this instance that I’m an impulsive buyer! It just came in the mail this evening, and I read it all right away. This book reminded me that I’m not alone in my feelings or struggles, and while still in the midst of “getting over” someone, as the title says, it was helpful to see the author’s journey through grieving towards healing. Raw, honest, open look at our minds and hearts when growing attached to and moving on from someone. Beautifully written.

I loved a lot of poems in this book. I'm so glad I got the paperback I think it was the right choice. This poetry collection helped heal me and to get over someone I missed. I might read some sections again but "the healing" section felt a little incomplete. Maybe I wasn't ready for it, I don't know. Maybe I just didn't want it to end. Either way, it's definitely a collection I'd revisit.

Knowing I still wasn’t over my ex I willingly still bought this book. I’m no book expert when it comes to analyzing things but I personally thought Leslie B did a great job. It’s a great read and well done in my opinion. A lot of parts in this book destroyed me but then again the book is titled “Getting over you” so what else was I expecting? I bought this book because I saw pages of it being posted online on instagram and tik tok and I thought about giving it a try.

It is short into the point. If you were going through a hard time, this book is a must read it’s helpful and it really touches the heart. If you’re going through heart break or trying to move on this book is for you.

This book is like a first person point of view about a broken relationship in which the guy was never really interested in the girl. This is a poem book.

I totally relate to each and every line mentioned here. This really made me feel like I'm not the only one who is going through rough time. So even i can be stronger and overcome this fear.
