superb
I literally took this out of the bag for the first time the day I first used it (I know, not good practice), I was under a bit of pressure to put it up as we were on a cub camp, lots of things had gone wrong and the cubs were due to arrive soon. Once you have it orientated, it is easy to put up, the poles are colour-coded to aid ease of selection (I put the poles in and used one guy at each end to keep it up). The sleeping compartment goes in no problem at all as the top-centre hooks and eyelets are colour-coded too (nice touch). The main problem I had (under pressure) was to get the porch ground sheet the right way round (easily solved in future by colour coding eyelets and hooks). Once up, it is a lovely tent, espcially with the large opening front door and two side ones, offers so many options for entrance/ exit and cooking etc. The size of the front porch is virtually the size of the sleeping area again, a blessing with so much kit for cub-camps and them wet, muddy boots and other kit. Ok, I am an experienced camper, but up in 15 mins from start to finish, not bad for a first 'put-up' and that was because of the design of the tent, not my experience (the other leader had a one-man £200 tent and took him as long, and had a fraction of the room).£54?...bargain mate, recommend to anybody!!

Good tent, quite time consuming to put up though
Went camping with this tent last weekend - it comes in 3 main pieces - the outer sheet, the sleeping flysheet and sewn-in groundsheet, and a separate groundsheet that is loose for the entrance section of the tent. It goes up fairly quickly (took me about 20 mins the first time) but is a bit fiddly. I wouldn't really want to put it up in the rain since I think it could end up a bit wet at the end... Because its not a dome shape, when putting up the outer shell you do need to use the guy ropes in order to be able to keep the tent stable, but its not too much of a hassle. The inner groundsheets just clip into the outer when that's put up.Given it 4 stars as its a bit more difficult and fiddly to put up than a regular dome, but then it is bigger when its up and also quite a lot cheaper than a comparable sized tent. Plenty of space for bags etc in the inner storage area, and if it gets messy in there would be easy to clean out as its separate from the flysheet. Pleased in general with this.

A nice little tent
A nice little tent, and not just nice for the price, although I wouldn't pay any extra for a tent of this size. It is very comfortable for me and my son to stay in. We've only had a 3 nighter in it so far, but we could easily have stayed in it for a week. It rained non stop for about 20 hours, and no leaks. Make sure the bottom of the front door is outside the porch groundsheet tho, so water doesn't collect in the porch. Very easy to put up, and take down. A tight squeeze to get it back in its back, but in good weather with some time, I'm sure I could pack it as well as when it came. Enough height in the porch to sit on a camping stool to eat, without my head touching the roof. I'm 5' 6" tho. I'm a rugged no luxuries sort of camper, so this was perfect for us. Other people may prefer to be able to stand and walk about in their tent, but this feels like the best tent I couldve got for my needs and the price

Terrible Customer Service on this product
Though the tent was initially very pleasing a pole broke and getting a replacement via Coleman Customer Service has been an awful experience. They do not have any spare poles or pole sets for this tent and when I asked why they support other Coastline tents but not this one their operative took offense and put the phone down on me. I then thought I would register my displeasure at this but ringing an option other than Customer Services get you a 'leave a voice mail' then a 'voice mail full' set of messages followed by 'goodbye'. I have lost confidence in Coleman and shall buy from a different manufacturer - be warned!

I thought it was a great tent, but very poor construction. Now binned!
Firstly, I'd like to say that I really love the size of this tent and how it functions in regards to space and convenience.I use it when away on my motorcycle and it packs well onto my bike, with a front porch to store my gear and plenty room to hide if the weather turns bad.....And that's when I found a fault with the tent, when the weather turned bad.I've had rain on a off for the last 15 hours, and I awoke to 2 puddles in the porch area. The seams at the top of the side doorways leak at the start. I felt around all the side doors zip seams and it felt wet for the majority of it. Then I noticed the roof seam was also damp. Nowhere else dripped, just at the start of the door zips... And the inner tent stayed dry so that's good.I don't believe this tent has taped seams, which is a real shame as its core design is great.Coleman really need to make a better quality version of this tent as I'd happily pay more for better quality.I really do like the tent though so I will be getting nikwax sealant and trying to make it weatherproof when I return home.I will also get a couple replacement poles as I believe this is also another weakness of the tent (met a chap with the same tent while away and he had just broke a pole). So it says a lot that I'd go to that length to keep using a flawed tent lol.Just a couple tips...You can buy short leg versions of camping chairs that work great inside the tent for when you're chilling at night. I recommend kampa's one.You will probably never get this tent back into its bag again. But I do recommend buying 2/3 straps when packing it away. They're pretty nifty, roll it up and tighten a strap around it.The straps I use are on here called "2x camping utility straps".EDIT - I've used this tent now in high winds, 40-50mph, and I can confirm it's not great under such conditions. Poles have split which I can cope with and repair but one pole has ripped out the eyelet it sits in and no longer is capable of holding the tent rigid. I can't repair this and the tent will now go in the bin. Really poor considering I've only had the tent 3 months or so.(on a plus note - nikwax tent waterproofing worked well though, no leaks after a night of rain). So long story short, the tent leaks, the poles are weak and the construction not fit for purpose.Only suitable for dryer, calm, destinations.
