It is oven safe to 500-degrees and perfect over the stove top or on the flame. Use it anytime you would reach for a saute pan or oven casserole dish. While not teflon, you'll find the glaze is easy to clean and resistant to sticking, while still capable of browning. Dishwasher safe but Hand wash is recommended. These perform well and are lighter than iron or steel.
