very useful and portable... and reasonably priced
I purchased the 14.3 inch foldable board. I have to admit that I really like the device. I was concerned about some of the other reviews on here. I know they are for different devices but let me address some of the concerns that others have brought up. 1) Visibility of the Lines - Some users say that the lines are too light. I tried this tablet in a room with limited natural light and none of the lights turned on - I could see the lines just fine. I noticed that the lines on this writing tablet are a bit thinner than the Boogie Board that I have on my fridge and the visibility between the two is noticeably different. But after using this writing tablet for a bit, I think I prefer the slightly thinner lines because it allows me to be more detailed in what I write and draw as well as capture more information on the same amount of space. The Boogie Board is for capturing quick notes so the lines can be thicker, but the thinner lines are actually better for planning and note taking. YMMV. 2) Stylus Holder retainability - the stylus holder on the side fits the stylus well. The stylus won't just accidentally slide off easily. In fact, the grip is very good. I accidentally launched a stylus across the room trying to get it off. It's a good thing my dogs weren't around or I'd have to fight them for it. However, the stylus removal and replacement isn't too hard or too easy - it's just right. It's a nice feature. 3) Erasure Function - I initially wanted a button for the erase function, but I've discovered that touching the back of the pen to the erase area works just fine. In fact, I think I prefer how the device does it instead of a button. Moving parts fail so this eliminates a potential failure point from the devices. It erases clean every time. 4) Size - I'm glad I got the 14.3" foldable. There's a large writing area when it's unfolded. However, it's not much bigger than a large Moleskine notebook when it's folded, making this easily portable. I got this to be a portable tablet to capture thoughts on the go so the folded size is important to me. So far, I really like this device. I've already put it to good use taking notes. I take this with me when I'm out and about, and I take pictures of my board if I run out of space and need to erase the board. If I lose or break this then it won't hurt quite as bad as if I had damaged or lost a more expensive computing device (laptop or tablet). I'll provide updates to this review over time to give my impression of the durability of the device. So far, it's a great little device at an extremely reasonable price. I'm happy with this purchase.

Worth it! 6.5 inch is pocket sized as I needed!
Works as advertised, perfect size for me to put in my apron and quick jot notes. And buttons are placed so they aren't accidently pressed. The lock on the bottom and the delete on the back. pen magnetically sticks to the tablet, not to strong of a magnet but this was a good price and functions as needed! Fun to doodle too!

Someone made a physical version of the Notes App
This thing is awesome. Iโm 34 and bought this for myself. I love the size and weight. Fits easily in my backpack and it feels like itโs a well built product. Erasing is super easy and oddly satisfying. I use it to plan my day and practice drawing. My only complaints: I wish it had a selective erase ability. Like if the magnet on the back of the stylus could erase what it touched or areas of having to erase the whole screen at once (one of two screens). It was a good purchase and worth the money. Just a heads up, I thought each screen was going to be 14.3 inches and I was mistaken. When folded closed itโs about the size of a small tablet

The form-factor makes a good thing... great!
๐ฆ๐จ๐ ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ฌ A simple LCD tablet is made better by a small form-factor and bezel-less design. ๐ง๐๐ ๐ง๐๐๐๐ก๐ข๐๐ข๐๐ฌ This device uses a simple passive LCD tablet technology that is found in products like the Boogie Board and those countless drawing tablets for kids. Unlike the multi-color of those kiddie tablets, this screen has a single green color. ๐ง๐๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ก I was initially skeptical in ordering this because of the negative reviews regarding their difficulty in reading the screen. But I bought one anyway and I'm glad that I did. This isn't a backlit active LCD. It needs a good ambient light to read what is on the screen. It is no worse than those other tablets. The "resolution" (if that's an applicable term here) of the screen seems to be higher than the kiddie tablet I bought off Wish or the "professional" full size version (with folio case) I bought on Temu. I am able to draw finer lines on this than those others. Even when swapping the styli around, this allows for finer details. (see attached photo) ๐ง๐๐ ๐ฆ๐ง๐ฌ๐๐จ๐ฆ The stylus is a decent size and weight that is well matched to the tablet. It is slightly thicker than the tablet itself, and the magnet is strong enough to keep it attached to the tablet when in a shirt pocket. I would definitely like the magnet to be stronger, but it serves the purpose. ๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฆ๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ก The erase button is on the back of the tablet. At first this seemed to be a bit odd, but after using the tablet for a while I appreciated the design decision. By having the button on the back, it allows the tablet to be bezel-less, and makes it less likely to accidentally press the erase button. ๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ -๐๐๐๐ง๐ข๐ฅ This is one of the few tablets that comes in a size this small. Not having a bezel means that there is a surprising amount of space to write and draw. It is nearly identical in size to a smart phone and it fits comfortably in a shirt pocket. Super handy to take out and about. ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ฆ I keep this on my desk with me and jot down numbers or other info for immediate and temporary reference (dimensions when designing graphics, contact email, etc.) When I go out, I tuck it in my shirt pocket for taking quick notes. I sometimes use the free eWriter Jot app to take a screenshot (it produces a negative of the image) for those things that I want to save.

There is good, not so good and misleadingโฆ.
The form factor of the pad and stylus work well. The writing experience is smooth. I appreciate the magnetic coupling of the stylus to the pad. That being said, there a two function that I am not impressed by. 1) The text clearing/erasing button being on the back of the device can is annoying. 2) The display brightness and contrast is not representative of the item presentation in the listing images. The only way I can achieve the same level of text presentation is when I held a led flashlight in one hand and wrote with the stylus in the other. When writing with the pad directly under a lamp, the display is still faded as compared to the listing photos. It isnโt terrible, but it is misleading to present otherwise in the listing.

Update - item died in it's sleep after 10 months of light usage.
*** UPDATE *** I purchased a new CR2016 cell and the problem remains. The tablet has ceased to erase writing (Yes, I checked to be certain the "do not erase" switch is set to allow erasing) Changing previous 3-star rating to 1 star because it died without any sort of over- or mis-use. Gone too soon.... **** The tablet works for quickly jotting down things. I have it on the side of my fridge (built-in magnets work great for me if I hang it upside down! Orientation makes no difference in taking notes. Stylus' magnet works to keep IT stuck to the fridge, too.). Mostly it gets shopping list stuff, then cleared after I've copied to my phone. Useful for quick recipe notes, and for leaving funny messages for the family to find. Had it about 10 months, probably used it four times a month on average. The CLEAR button only dims the writing now, not clears completely. Swapped in the handy-dandy replacement battery that came with the tablet - no change in behavior. Either the spare died on the shelf while waiting to be called upon, or the tablet has gone bad. I'll invest in a new CR2016 to isolate the trouble. Hoping it is simply inferior original batteries. You (meaning I) need fairly bright ambient light to be able to see the writing. Not an issue in my kitchen during daytime, but have to crank up the lumens a bit after sunset. I think it is a fair value, but still feel unloving toward the likely cheap-o batteries they supplied.

Good stylus + Fine lines + Folding Capabilities
This is my favorite brand of LCD tabletsโthe stylus have a finer point and weight than most others and the screen lays down a clear, sharp line. Having two of these good stylus is a solid bonus and that they securely hook into the top of the tablet is well thought out. I currently use it for task tracking, alternating from one side to the other when I have crossed off enough tasks that I want to start with a fresh list on the second side with the remaining original tasks. I like the portable size and, folded, I use it as a writing surface on my lap. Being able to fold the tablet assures me that my work wonโt be messed up as I toss it around my desk and in my bags. I havenโt even mentioned the unique and efficient erasing mechanism. I feel like this company listened to every issue I have with all other LCD tablets and made this one just for me.

Way too dim.
This works as intended, but the writing is so dim that it's barely visible. This is in a lit room, with a lamp a foot away and a bright window right next to me. Too dim in my opinion.
