iDinosaur: An Augmented Reality Book Hardcover – 9 May 2013

Bought this item for our grandson of 7 he loves these kind of interactive books.Keep him interested for hours, very informative also.

Quick delivery good condition

My son loves anything to do with dinosaurs and this book delivers, good to read together but the augmented sections really bring it to another level, my only criticism is that there are only 4 augmented boxes and after awhile you wish they had added more. But if this is the shape of things to come then I will defiantly be ordering any further ones in the series.

I bought this book for my grandson as a treat and he loves it he loves the way the dinosaurs come to life.

Excellent interactive book! My grandson loves it and we had hours of fun.

The basic premise is quite fun - colourful pages with a bit of information about each featured dino, coupled with a neat iphone / ipad app that lets you view the page through your device's camera and then hatch whatever beastie is on the page. You can then interact with it to some extent, make it walk around the room (as viewed on your screen) and capture pictures of the actual room with the dinosaur overlaid. So far so good - except that having forked out for the book you find that only a few dinosaurs will hatch, the remainder being replaced by a crate with a big fat pound sign; you can have 'em if you want 'em - but it's gonna cost ya. All in all it's a nice idea but the greedy implementation makes it one to avoid.

Nice book, but in order to access the dinosaurs you need to purchase them. It only gives you a couple for free. Very disappointed.
