It does what it says
Never used a walking foot before so after reading reviews that suggested it was too complicated to fit or didnt work as expected I was somewhat aprehensive. I have upholstery to sew and with several layers I needed to keep them from shifting or not moving through the machine so I decided to give it a go. Once I figured out how to attach it to my Singer Brilliance there was no stopping me. I am really pleased with it.

Tried this on my janome as it was cheap. It worked but really noisy and Not as smooth as the real thing. I Would recommend you buy the appropriate attachment for your machine but it depends on how deep your pockets are. At under £11 it works compared to janome £50.

Slow start but works great now
Took a while to get it working properly so would advise you get sewing machine oil too. Now it is working perfectly and is a great help to quilting. The company were also very helpful when I contacted them about the problem.

Easier than I thought
I wasn't sure whether to get this or not as have never used one before. It took me a little while to figure out how it worked and how to use it but since then I've used it for a number of different projects and have been pleased with the results. It stops the bunching and stretching when smoother fabrics slide against each other between the dog feed teeth and the foot, and its been exceptionally useful when I've used stretch fabrics.Id definitely recommend giving this attachment a try if you do a lot of machine sewing with different fabrics..

Should have bought one of these years ago
When I think of all the years I’ve struggled with puckering seams, now with one simple little gadget and problems solved. My daughter has sent for one too.

Did not Fit and could damage the machine
Even though I asked the question would it fit my Janome 525 and got a response that it would fit, it did not fit because of 2 reasons (see picture)1. The action arm would not allow the needle to reach the top of it's stroke because it hit the sewing machines casing. If I had not checked this by carefully manually turning the machine through it's cycle it would have damaged the machine.2. The right hand side of the post (as you look from the front) interfered with the teeth holding plate on the dog foot meaning that pressure was always applied and the teeth were always in the down position. It seems that the seller quite often has no idea if it would fit a particular machine and just gives a standard response of "yes and we have a 30 day money back guarantee" BUT if it does not fit then you have to post it back for a refund at your own cost.It would be better the seller provided detailed pictures and dimensions of the posts that it would fit.
