Tomsline APN-3 Plexion, Brit-Stack Simulator Pedal

Performs as generally expected. I bought this looking for an early Black Sabbath/Iommi sound. This little stomp box does do the job though frankly, the Roland amp that I use has several synthetic amp settings that produce similar distortion (albeit with generally less treble). The tiny volume and tone knobs are ridiculous to try and adjust so you need to set and then forget them. Also, doesn’t come with a power chord. This is a worthwhile purchase if you don’t have any other way of producing a moderate amount of crunchy distortion like that found on their first two albums. FYI, I play a Gibson SG 1960’s Tribute guitar with P90 pickups, similar to what Iommi used back then.

GREAT MARSHALL PLEXI AMP in pedal for without breaking the bank IT sounds really good for bluesy sounds as well as distorted ones for 60s through 70s and 80s HARDROCK and beyond check the YOUTUBE videos on this pedal and you can get a general idea how good it is I own 2 they look really cool too with the metal bar each one has too.

Love the tones out of this thing. Gets a little noisy, but most pedals do. Got it paired with a donner feedback killer for my crunchier tones, and it works well. Great little pedal. May want to put some nail polish or something in the notches of the smaller knobs. Gets annoying to not be able to see where your levels are.

I like this high gain effects pedal. Built very well looks like it will hold up good on a pedal board. I like the cross bar over the gain control to protect it from your foot not coming in contact with it. It arrived very fast and the box it came in was very nice. I will buy more of these effect pedals.

Did the job with amazing true tone

This thing rocks!! It really gets that tight Marshall presence. If you love the seventies and early eighties Marshall with a tube screamer in front of it sounds this pedal is for you.For the price this and the Dumbler are probably the best bang for your buck in overdrive/distortion pedals out there.This teamed up with the Dumbler pedal into a good tube amp you can get Eric Johnson woman tone to Eddie Van brown sounds.No need to spend $150.00-$200.00 to get great overdrive sounds anymore. For around $80.00 you can get the Dumbler and Plexion and have your bluesy overdrive and your hard rock lead tone covered on your board.I never thought the Chinese could compete with the tried and true brands on tone. I really expected a cheesy solid state sound but the reviews are true, these things rock!!

OK quality, but tone seems to vary by temperature and humidity.
