Bought this tool to help me lay a patio. First used on my slabs which are 400x400mm. Made the job very easy.Have this weekend used it to lay a patio for my son with slabs 600x600mm. It made a job that would have been back breaking so much easier. Used a length of wood through the handel so two of us could move the slabs which was easy to do with this and get them in place.Thought it was a little expensive with the delivery cost when ordering but would now say worth every penny. Would recommend 😊

I bought this together with the optional crossbar for 2-man operation - I cannot fault this and must say it was a life save...Had to lift and place 64x 900x600x50mm slabs at 66KG each (this is designed for 60KG max) and it worked flawlessly... very solid grip and shared the load... never slipped or hesitated once during 64 slabs...I highly recommend this, it won't disappoint and quality is excellent

I did use the slab lifter on 600mm x 600mm slabs, very heavy. I was doing my patio on my own and I'm 100% sure it wouldn't be possible to do it without the lifter.With the lifter it was very easy to lift the slab and put it in its place from the top, not messing your sand base. Also no such thing a chipped fingers.

Good tool for handling 3x2 slabs, takes good grip 90% of the time, ensure no loose debris on griping area. As these 3x2 are heavy, used 3X2 plank of wood throughout handle, to pick up and re-laid slabs, and also hung it from mini digger to lift slabs. No back ache.

Absolutely superb! I used this to lift 3x2 slabs and it worked perfectly. I thought it might be slow to use/adjust, but once you get the hang of it, it's actually very fast. Before I has this I was having to dig with my fingers underneath the edge of the slabs to get a grip, and effectively lift them with my biceps/back. Not easy! With this I can get right over the middle and lift mostly with my legs which is so much easier! Not the cheapest, but it's German quality.
