Easy to read and understand book about allowing God to choose your mate. So many teens and adults for that matter seem desperate for a relationship, any relationship in some cases. It seems their identity is all wrapped up in the relationship and the focus and energy is maintaining the relationship, even if it's unhealthy. This book shares the authors dating disasters and the desperation so many folks have. The authors finally realize their identity must be in Jesus Christ and not in some relationship. The authors hand over the reins of their love lives to God and allow Him to write their love story. The book is authentic and offers solid tips on how to achieve peace of mind when the Creator of the Universe is in charge of this important area. The book's theme might be: Do you want to settle for less than what God has planned? I read the book after a college student raved about it and agreed--it's a fantastic book. We bought 3 copies, one for each child and a household copy which we're planning to share with others. My husband is currently reading a copy. When he's finished we'll give each child their own copy, ask them to read, and we'll discuss it afterwards. I believe this is a life altering book and recommend it highly.

I was browsing Amazon for romance novels and I came across this book. I bought it thinking, "Oh well, the reviews seem pretty good. Let's give it a try." I am so glad that I decided to purchase this book. It has been the best book I have ever read in my life that has been so fulfilling. Many times I found myself looking for romance books, but felt empty after ending the story. This book is an ultimate guide for men and women in a relationship, whether married or not. There are many aspects in it, such as reflection of your life and how to become a better person. Thanks to this book, I have started to love my future husband even though I have not met him yet. But God has a plan for me, and He has a plan for you too. Don't hesitate and buy the book. I underlined, and wrote notes on the side. It has become so personal that I have decided to leave this legacy only for my future children to read! It may sound ridiculous to you, but not to me. You can only understand this after reading it :) 5 Stars!

Young Man here and dang I wish somebody would have slapped me with this book in my early teens. Scripture based, easily applicable book. Great for a discussion group or independent read. Great gift for young men and women to help them recognize and pursue Christ centered relationships

This was a great book especially for someone who is struggling in the relationship world. You must already have good faith. I have talked to people who don't have a great relationship with God and they felt like the book was telling them something totally different from what I got. Overall good book. I gave it 4 stars because if it was an amazing 5 star book, it wouldn't have taken me 3 weeks to finish it.

I ordered this book March 2013 after it caught my eye in a book store. It sat on my shelf for over a year and I finally started reading it April 2014. Today I just finished this book. When finally complete, I burst into tears. I had to fall to my knees and thank God for bringing this book into my life.This book will make you cry, laugh, repent, and hope. It will make you feel guilt and sorrow from your past, it will make you raise your standards for relationships, it will make you cry out to God to take and restore your love life.I started this book right at the end of a break up. I was so desperate for help and understanding. This book completely changed the way I approach relationships. It helped me realize why it didn't work out with the guy I dated. It helped me have JOY that the relationship ended. I have always been the type of person to cycle through relationships, looking for meaning and purpose through them. This book helped me fall in love with God. I am so thankful to be single and invite Him to take complete control of my life. Now, I can wait patiently if He chooses to bring a Christ-like man into my life. I won't settle for less.If you have been through heartbreak, if you have never found fulfillment in your relationships, if you have been left confused and lost in the relationship arena....please read this book. Your eyes will be open to complete truths, and you will be forever changed.

This book was so mind setting for me, made me vison a lot of things I wish I would have done differently, I also can relate a lot to this book. The relationship that my fiance and I have is a little different than most, we live in two different states as of right now and I must say long distance relationships are hard work but as long as you have the time to put the work in and let the Lord work his way into your life it makes a huge difference.I must say my favorite part(s) in this book were the questions at the end of every chapter My finace and I both enjoyed answering these as a couple.For future readers, I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have.Enjoy!
