Ona Pro - 175g Block

So we were unlucky enough to have a rat problem under the floorboards in our house. Bait was used to eradicate the problem but as we were unable to get to the underfloor space to retrieve the dead rats, we were left with an horrendous foul and putrid smell as they decomposed. We were warned this would happen but nothing could prepare us for the extreme and overpowering stench. Followed all advice to open as many windows to ventilate, the worst area which unfortunately for us was our kitchen/conservatory. Read reviews of this product which seemed good. We bought 2 for quite a large area. They do have their own aroma, however not unpleasant considering what we had been enduring! Information says to put them as close to the source as possible, but in our case that was impossible, so had to do the next best thing and place in the worst areas in the kitchen. Under a sink unit. So they need 24 hours to kick in but considering we were told this could last 2/3 weeks it seemed ok. The bad smell (like rotting cabbage) is not removed 100% but it does go some way to neutralise the worst of it.. which is something. I would recommend this product, it is not unpleasant and is far more preferable to the original source. For larger spaces 3 tins should be enough. They last approx 6 weeks which is long enough .

I bought this along with a Rentokil Sachet to try and rid my upstairs of the stench of a dead mouse, because although I use the excellent electric traps, my neighbour, who is the one with the mouse infestation, still uses the highly ineffective poisons, which then leads to at least one mouse a month staggering into my house from theirs and dying someone in between my floorboards.Happily, as I am trying to sell my house currently, this is always at the exact moment I have people around to view my house, and the dead body of a mouse is always without fail somewhere totally inaccessible.I was therefore looking for an alternative to burning down my neighbours mouse infested house once and for all, and came across this being mentioned as being useful for such things. I placed this in the corner of the bedroom closest to where the stench was emanating from, and one of the Rentokil sachets under the floorboards as close as I could get to where I thought the inaccessible dead body was.I can't be sure which was the most effective as I obviously used both, not wanting to risk either not working, but the hideous stench was gone within the hour, and hasn't returned since. Frankly for the cost I'd happily purchase both again just to not have to put up with that stench for the weeks it usually lasted.

Something died under our floorboards. My suspicion is a rat, but could of been anything. If you've ever experienced that all-consuming thick putrid smell of death and decay...there is nothing in the world quite like it. I was giving serious consideration to paying someone to pull up the floorboards.But then I read a few reviews on Amazon. Purchased 1 x ONA Block Pro Odour Neutraliser plus 1 x Rentokill FM24 Mouse & Rat Odour Sachet. Quite frankly I would have paid any amount to be rid of this smell. Surely it couldn't work?? Much to my amazement, the horrific smell is completely gone. I would say the ONA Block is doing slightly more of the heavy lifting.1000% recommend.

I bought this in desperation when faced with a dead rat problem. Absolutely fantastic. I replaced it after 3 weeks as the smell was beginning to return. Will now keep a supply of these in the house so I'm ready for any smells that might arise!

Easy to open and place inside the cat loo. Quite a strong smell, but def better than poo.

Easily the least offensive-smelling freshener I've experienced. Mildly medicated smell and its understated presence gently and effectively seems to neutralise untoward odours - even in one case the after smell of a rat intrusion. Highly recommended..

I couldn't notice any difference, waste of money.
