Vessel 900 Megadora ? (JIS) Screwdriver by Vessel

If you need to use tools on a regular basis, you look for reliability, quality and ergonomics. The vessel feels feels solid from the moment you pick it up. There's no give between the handle and the shaft of the screwdriver. For those of you not used to JIS Philips screwdrivers, you're in for a treat. The contact end doesn't come to a fine point- it's flat, allowing the screwdriver to sit inside the screw without slipping. Less force required and less wear on the screw head. It's worked wonders on some of my more expensive bike components as well as some frustrating DIY. It's difficult to explain fully without being able to put the tool in your hand but I can't see myself going back to non JIS screwdrivers. A note reading terminology: 1st bit (+2, -1 etc) refers to the contact end of the screwdriver - size and whether it's a flat head or a Philips head. Next no is the length of the screwdriver. Quick note- paid about 12 pounds for this including delivery. Be careful not to be scalped on price even if it needs to be delivered from Japan.

Excellent tool much better than a Phillips head on jis screws large comfortable grip.

First things first, it actually feels like a quality tool. The grip is lovely, really comfy, got a nice soft feel but its not soft. You can see the serrated teeth on the end which should add more grip. In case you're wondering, this isn't a Philips screwdriver. It's JIS and the screws will look like a regular Philips but will have a small dimple on the screw head to let you know what type of screw it is. It also has a non roll design so you can place the tool down knowing it won't roll off. It's a really nice screwdriver but it's for specific screws. Me personally, I don't use incorrect screwdriver types if I can help it, ie Philips for Pozi or JIS etc.

If you own and wish to maintain a Japanese motorcycle you need this screwdriver. The JIS tip, fits screw heads perfectly and grips well. It's also an ideal length and comfortable to use.

The current screwdriver I was using was destoying the heads on the limit screws so I bought this screwdriver. It fits perfectly. The screwdriver is a little expensive but is much better than destroying the heads of my limit screws!

Der Schraubendreher wurde am 19.8.20 bestellt und am 20.8.20 in Yokohama auf die weite Reise geschickt. Heute, 1.9.20 lag er in meinem Briefkasten. Ich bin begeistert! Da kann sich so mancher inländische Shop eine dicke Scheibe abschneiden. Japanstore: 5 Sterne plus 2 Daumen nach oben. P.S. Der Schraubendreher ist qualitativ natürlich auch in Ordnung und funktioniert einwandfrei ;-)
