Multitude of realy great photos - just as well - as I didn't notice the text wasn't in English!Wish it had been though as a present for Vespa man.

Great book full of fantastic photos and good reference to the vespa range perfect coffee table reading!

I really wouldn't bother buying this book, unless you just want some glossy pictures the content is really poor with little historical information.

My father was a Vespa user between 1960 and the mid 1990s. I grew up with the Vespa and I used to ride on it with my fahter. There were many books published on this famous Italian Scooter but this one is simply the best, and at a very affordable price. Full of pictures, a list of all Vespa models and samples of Vespa ads!!! What else can I ask for? Highly recommended!!!!

Das kleine Büchlein (Format 19,5 x 13,5 cm) ist eher eine emotionale Hommage an die Vespa, also weniger etwas für Technik-Freaks, die nur Faktenaufzählungen und technische Details erwarten. Die Texte sind sowieso recht knapp und nicht besonders tiefgehend - aber das stört nicht, denn der Schwerpunkt liegt bei den über 200 Bildern. Die Abbildungen der Originalplakate, Werbebilder und teilweise auch Platten-Cover aus vergangenen Jahrzehnten sind aus heutiger Sicht manchmal unfreiwillig komisch, aber immer recht originell. Neben dem Roller wird übrigens auch kurz auf andere Produkte von Piaggio eingegangen, wie dem Dreiradtransporter APE oder dem Kleinwagen Vespa 400.Für Vespa-Freund ist das Büchlein sicher ein nettes Geschenk. Im Anhang gibt es noch eine Liste aller Vespa-Modelle, allerdings sollte man wissen, dass diese sich auf dem Stand von 2006 befindet.
