Conveniently packaged Cupboard staple.
This is the third time I have ordered this rice. The packaging is very convenient for storage in the kitchen. It cooks well, and tastes nice at a reasonable price. For cooking I get good results on the hob, in the oven and in the microwave which makes it very versatile, unlike some brands. What more could I ask from a store cupboard staple? Providing the price does not shoot up, I'll stick with this product.

High quality rice in large airtight bottle with handle wonderful fragrance
Wonderful rice in a really useful air tight large bottle with handle. Just cooked some of this rice. Its filled the house with the most wonderful fragrance. Try it with a pilau rice powder seasoning. Stupendous.

Really nice rice!
Lovely rice! but make sure to wash it in cold water a FEW times before cooking to get the starch out! I feel like washing also brings out the flavour of the rice better!

The best Basmati rice available in the UK
This is the only Basmati rice I would buy. The quality is incredible and never get sticky. I tried many different ones and this is the best ever, taste is great and the jar it comes in is very useful. It's more expensive than other brands, but if you try it I'm sure you won't regret it.

this is by far the worst quality Basmati Rice
For those who know well about Basmati Rice, this is by far the worst quality Basmati Rice. Sainsbury Aged Premium Basmati is far better and nice flavour and much cheaper in price. I was looking for a smaller pack to buy but found only the 5kg pack, I am not sure what I will do with the rest, as I can't even return this product. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

More expensive than supermarket and arrives damaged
Disappointed as the only reason for buting this was the storage jar, which arrived damaged.The rice is good and as nice as any other basmati rice from the supermarket.Hence why 2 stars and not only one.Would not recommend and will definitively not buy this again.

Convenient
Great for convenience, the big and reusable box makes it so easy to store this.But the taste is really average. If you're used to genuine basmati, this comes a bit short for flavor and length. It doesn't expand as much as some better quality basmatis, and tends to get extra starchy/sticky if even slightly overcooked.

Best rice ever
Really pleased with how quickly this arrived.Veetee Basmati rice has been a favourite of mine for years. When I use it I never seem to go wrong. Lovely fluffy, loose grains without any effort, its sort of a secret in my kitchen. I have been finding it harder and harder to get hold of recently so was delighted to find it on Amazon. I also really like the way it is packaged. Easy to pour and the screw top is genius. Far better than a sack or bag of rice that I have usually bought.I really recommend it.
