not a lot to say about saline but does the job

Very sneaky of avizor - I've used this solution for years to rinse my RGP lenses as per optician's advice. I noticed recently when I ran out of saline solution, paradoxically my eyes seemed happier. Nothing here on the listing for example, nor the bottle (perhaps the box?) indicates any preservatives, in fact the amazon AI even states confidently that it is preservative-free - textbook example of AI hallucination. If you have a proper deep dive on the internet, you will find proof that it contains Polyhexanide: "which is a preservative (0,00005%)". Proof from Avizor themselves, who also do all they can to hide this. Google 'Novalens-Avizor-Saline-suolaliuos.pdf'. In fact there is only one specific avizor saline product, held in vials which are very expensive and much less commonly used, that is preservative-free. Firstly, these are irritating to the eyes for many, secondly.. this very preservative is linked to eye complications used long term - it is far worse if you are using soft lenses as the hydrogel acts like a sponge and soaks up preservatives. Most significant of all is how well-kept this 'secret' is. Other make it clear there are preservatives. Avizor sells their solution for a higher price, which many pay for believing it has no preservatives. Should not be legal, and undeniably is unethical.

i sue to buy the 30 tinny packets for £9-£11 a month but this bottle is huge for only £5 worth it if not travelling around
