Bought as a present so have not read but looks very good

I'd tried a few books, unsuccessfully, before buying this one. What a difference! The simple explanations and clear examples helped me understand quickly. I was able to make sentences and ask questions within the first few days of using it. The online materials are a great help too. As you'd expect, there's audio for all the examples of course, but there are also exercises, videos and quizzes.I was so impressed by how quickly I made progress, I decided to buy more books by the same authors. I've since been learning to read Thai as well, and it's a lot of fun reading the Thai script in this book while still having the romanised phonetic to help out.If you're a beginner or a false starter like I was, then I can't recommend this book enough. It's clear, written in simple English and has loads of examples.

I got this book because I saw it while searching for a Thai dictionary. I'm so glad I did.It is the only resource I have found so far that has been been able to explain the word láeo and how it is used in a way I understand.The first thing I did when recieving the book was to find that word. It was confusing me so much but now I think I finally get it. Thank you !I find it hard to learn new languages, and Thai is rather daunting because of the tones. I feel confident that with this book I will progress quickly. Thank you for the free online audio as well.

Great book. They writers have done a great job with their books making it easier to learn what has been a daunting language for me to learn. I got the read and write Thai today and the ultimate Thai visual dictionary all together and linked with the on line resources I find them much more effective.

Great book to learn to build simple sentences in Thai. Audio, video, exercises, and quizzes are very helpful. I just wish they will add exercises and quizzes to the later chapters in section 2. Overall great resource for learning Thai.

これまでにとりあえず詰め込んでゴチャゴチャになっていた知識が、読み進めていくうちに、どんどん整理された感じ。たぶん文法を教える順番がいいんだと思う。例文もシンプルで、いろんな単語を使いすぎていないところがよい。購入してすごく良かった。

We’re going to Thailand in six months and I really wanted to be able to learn at least how to speak the basics. I tried to find a few different tools online and different books, but everything was very overwhelming. I’ve never learned another language, but the reviews on this were so great and the book was so reasonably priced, I decided to give it a try. I’ve been learning for about a month and a half now, and know about 60 words, and can put together some basic, but very useful sentences. Thank you so much for this! I highly recommend!
