It was an article asked for by my daughter in law.looks fine to me,haven't a clue as to it's use but l am looking forward to a batch of macaroons.

If you are buying this, you're definitively a big macaron fan like me, but be careful, the size of these macarons will be very small, almost half size of the normal macaron. The first time I tried this mat, the macarons were a disaster, they sticked to the mat and broke. I have to try it again and see what happens. You don't even need to pipe the macaron batter, just use a spoon, teaspoon, 1/4 of spoon to fill the holes.

I have had no success making Macarons, although I can make meringues. That has nothing to do with the baking sheet which is lovely. I just can't make Macarons, not given up trying though!

Nice heavy silicone sheet with 30 little indents on one side for creating macarons or small pâte à choux, and a smooth back for lining the sheet for cookies or whatnot. The only thing that surprised me was that it was a lot smaller than the full sheet (it only covers about 2/3 of it), so you can't really use it to line the pan for a full sheet of cookies. (That was my bad, it actually lists the dimensions on the description.)On the other hand, it is easier to handle when washing (always a plus) than the full sheet size, which tends to flop around and drip all over the place, and I never have enough counter space to lay one of those down flat for drying. So this one gets used much more often than expected. I do also have the same full size baking sheet mat (with larger indents), so if needed for full sheet work, I use that one.It is well worth the few extra bucks to get this kind of tray liner as opposed to the flimsy thin papery ones you can buy rolled up in a tube. They are easier to handle, easier to clean, and will last without getting creases in them. (And a final storage tip - they stack and roll up easily, and you can keep them rolled up by cutting a slit down the cardboard tube left over from a roll of paper towels, then using that like a clip around the rolled tube of liners.)

Ich habe mir dieses Backblech für die Macaronsherstellung gekauft. Der Teig läuft nicht über und die Macarons werden rund. Es lässt sich sehr gut reinigen. Also für mich eine super Anschaffung.
