Bought a Chinese diesel heater, required 12v battery unit draws 8 amps starting, and 1 1/2 amps running. I bought this so I would not have to screw with a thirty pound battery. Checked voltage output and unit was putting out 12.2vdc, has a trimming cap, I tweeked it up to 12.8 volt. It absolutely works fantastic. Also the Vevor diesel heater kept the whole house warm, only uses 3 liters in a 24hr period. Great combination.

Like most switchers, it will generate noise for AM (or SSB) radios. I use it for VHF FM which is not bothered by the noise. If you need a P.S. for an HF rig, buy a linear, regulated (boat anchor) supply. Good ones make very little noise in the HF bands.You need to add a fused AC power cord.

Failed after 6 months. Only used it about 10 times. Never pulled more than 8A.I would output 12V unloaded but sag to 5V when drawing any current at all.

Powered my 12v diesel heater perfectly, easy to adjust voltage as well.

First I adjusted the output voltage to 13.5 Volts (typical of a car voltage). The adjustment pot is a little temperamental but I finally dialed it in. I've been burning it in for a week now, and it's staying rock solid. I connected a car power adapter to it and powered up an old CB radio. I have not pushed it yet. I'll let you know the results when I do.

Bought this for my Diesel heater which uses 12 volts. No complaints here, works perfect

Input: 110ac or switch to 220ac Output:15 amp 12v is adjustable no fan works well low heat. I received it with voltage output on the high side but was easy to adjust.

Got this as a stand alone power supply for a diesel heater installed in a shed. Starts and runs without issue. Easy to hook up.
