Tokyo Ghoul √A is a fantastic season to continue from Season One. It follows Kaneki Ken after the events of being tortured by Yakumo Oomori (Jason) and what the outcome of this is and what Kaneki becomes due to being tortured for ten long days. I love the story and the plotline it follows and it creates some epic memorable moments that I won't get into detail with for the interest of spoilers ect.The character design is amazing and some aspects of the plotlines that were hinted from the previous season are expanded upon so we can get a much better understanding of all the characters. Epic fight scenes, sad moments and weird or curious moments are to be expected in this season and its a good thing. This made me more interested and invested with the characters and plotline so definitely get this and add it to your anime collection.Compared to the dreadful Season Three, that has a very messy plot and overall character arc which completely butchers character development from Season One and Two. Season Three has an awful ending to accompany it, although I do know that the manga wasn't any better with the regards to the ending, the anime destroyed the magic for me in Tokyo Ghoul and what the world was like. Personally, Season Two's ending was the end of the series for me and it should have been left there at that for us all to make our own minds as to what could have happened next.Basically, buy this and then don't buy the third season. I would, however, highly suggest Tokyo Ghoul - Jack & Pinto OVA which gives us a more in-depth look at characters that we don't really know much about. For example, Pinto touches base with the wonderful but strange character, Shuu Tsukiyama aka "Gourmet".
