Will this fit onto the new imac desktop ? it's thin but not quite as thin as a macbook

Belkin has released an iPhone mount with MagSafe specifically for Mac desktops and displays, but it sold out very quickly.. There are a couple of videos on YouTube. Hopefully it will come back into stock soon.

How well would that work over MagSafe compatible otterbox case?

I have a plastic folio case on mine and it’s no good at all. I always take the phone out of the case if I want to use iPhones camera.
