Hi, mix 50ml with 1l water, heat until fizzing, leave for several minutes, rinse twice before using. That's for kettles. Instructions are hidden inside the sticker at the back, try peeling it off from bottom right corner. Best wishes, Ola

I have a discount code that came with the kettle i purchased. how do i claim this as there is nothing relevant on the russell hobbs website.

Had the same problem, so contacted Russel Hobb’s Customer Service. They replied that web site was undergoing reconstruction and to call 0345 658 9700 to order. The price for the discounted descaler is £0.88 and postage would be £2.30, this brings the total price to £3.18. as of November 2019

I have managed to screw off red lid, and open bottle, but it leaves a plastic lid underneath, and I cannot get it to shut again now.

the white plastic should be in side the red top .hope this helps ..

The description says it's designed for use in kettles, coffee machines and steam irons, so i would say yes. My coffee machine is mostly plastic and this hasn't caused me any issues. It's good stuff.
