Was looking forward to reading this, even though this was the first M/M romance.It didn't disappoint, love Landon & chase together & they were perfect for one another.Heather capture their relationship perfectly, Chase was the supportive & patient partner to Landon & understood what landon was going though when it came to his feeling for him & this being his first Male relationship, but going though all this you knew that Landon & ChaseLoved each other & was meant to be together.It felt like to me that a certain person brought Chase to Landon. People who read the first book Heart ablaze will know what I mean.With every book I've read from Heather you can't help but end up crying because of the heartfelt moment that are in her booksSo will need tissues at the ready.Thank you for giving us the heart on fire series Heather ❤️❤️❤️

I have loved all of the hearts on fire series the characters have been truly beautiful and incredibly well written, but unexpected flames has been truly beyond anything I have read for a long time. I'll be the first to say I never thought I'd read a MM book but heather took this storyline to another level, both characters are very different but they have both felt serious pain of losing loved ones which brings them together in ways they didn't realise was possible..Landon is the brother to Aubrey and a guy who has always thought he didn't deserve love and kept himself to himself, until he got noticed by chase Matthews the newest firefighter and a guy who goes after what he wants and that lucky guy is Landon.....Chase Matthews what can I say.....he is EVERYTHING! If you don't fall in love with him there is something seriously wrong with you lol I have adored this guy since he had a small cameo in hunters book when he took down hunter in one of the funniest moments I've read for a long time lol (loved that firehouse scene) he sees in Landon a man who just wants to be looked after and loved but won't allow anyone to get close, chase pushes those boundaries and brick by brick takes down those walls....Chase also has past issues which bring these two closer together as he understands how Landon feels more then he knows.Yes there are ups and downs that will make you want to punch Landon because he just will not allow chase in, but you see why Landon holds back and those moments truly break your heart.There's a moment that brings our gorgeous couple Noah and Aubs to the forefront in unexpected flames get those tissues ready it almost killed me.....😭Please give this amazing book a go and love Landon and chase as I did I swear to god you will not be disappointed, I adore heather her heart is running through the story.

Wow! Holy smoking hell! Bloody loved it.When I first started the Hearts on Fire series I didn't expect to fall in love with Heather Lyn but her books and writing and an immense amount of hotness, made that happen.... She is freaking awesome and is one of my favourite authors.Unexpected Flames has to be favourite in the series. I cried and I laughed and i fell so in love with Landon and Chase. Their journey was a difficult one and you will need tissues but their story is so worth the read.I want to rate this more then I can..... the entire series is a must read and I promise you will love them as much as I do.

I was very unsure about this book with it being about a gay couple, nothing wrong but I was unsure about reading about one, boy was I wrong it is a book about love, passion and two people who were not looking for love but found it. From the very start it draws you in and with a few twists and a couple of break ups they finally got their HEA.
