Best handheld out there
Great for use out and about or plugged into a dock and used with a screen/projector. Plays most AAA titles. Heaps of aftermarket add-ons and upgrades available.

Good price
Received product earlier than promised. Looks in good condition. Bought as a birthday gift for my daughter. Only issue I had was the item is advertised as new, yet the packaging states that it's refurbished, hence only four stars. Seller has been contacted and assured me that the item is new and covered by a full 12 month warranty. Looks brand new to be fair and is in good working order. Only time will tell.

Steam deck
Bought in November, and given as a Christmas gift. Already need to replace it, so if you buy one, make sure you get insurance! Won't turn on at all.

Worst ever
The fans blaze on it which was loud and audible, steamos really sucks as does the steamos file browser, none of the need for speed games are compatible, despite them working on a asus handheld so if they work on other handheld pcs they should easily be able to be made compatible with steamosAny game that has anti cheat systems like GTA V will not run on the steam deck at all so forget gta online or call of duty. The deal breaker for me is the content loud fan whether you play, I got mine brand new a week or so ago and it’s just so loud unless you are playing ancient games like Alice madness returns they it’s loud every 10mins or so.The steam deck is heavy in hand so after about 30 mins of gaming your wrists start to hurt and your fingers go numb. The bottoms are so close to the joysticks and the top of the console that it’s just uncomfortable to play the only positives are the screen and the speaker sound. Honestly I’d just get a different windows and based handheld, I’m used to Linux but the version of Linux and file browser sucks, desktop mode is clunky as are the touch pads it’s only usable in desktop mode using a hdmi dock with a keyboard and mouse. I’m probably gonna just stick windows on it, never use it for gaming and just use it for video encoding instead it’s just better than it sitting in a draw gathering dust
