I don’t have a clue how this item managed to get so many good reviews. If you do buy this, you’d better get the instructions laminated, this is the most confusing alarm clock I’ve ever owned. Two sets of buttons, no words, all symbols, some you have to hold for 5 seconds to do anything, and when the display changes there is no indication of what you’re actually setting. The interface is maddening. I mistakenly threw the box out before I set it up, I should have kept the box and put the clock in the trash.

I was honestly prepared for this thing to do nothing but I've been trying so hard to wake up earlier and figured I'd try everything before I gave up on having pleasant mornings. I was blown away the first morning when I woke up right on time and didn't feel overtired or anything! I've been using this for about a week now and waking up has never been so easy. I HAVEN'T HIT SNOOZE ONCE!! And this is coming from someone who used to have a three snooze minimum every single morning.I personally don't love the sounds given with the alarm so I just use the light only setting and wake up to the audio alarm on my phone. Many mornings I find myself waking up from the light alone though which is a lot nicer and feels easier on my body.Tooling around in the setting was a little annoying at first but it's all pretty intuitive and after a day or two I had it all figured out.This in combination with a programmable coffee maker have made me love my mornings again. If you are someone who has a hard time with the snooze then give this a try! I still can hardly believe the difference it has made in my life.

It's ok. It works and you can see it from a distance. I leave the colors off. Don't know how to sleep with that brightness on at night. I understood it to get brighter close to alarm time.

Verified purchase here, not sure why everyone is complaining about this thing! Rather affordable and relatively intuitive to program (I didn't read the instructions and was able to figure everything out.. from changing colors of the lamp to setting alarms, etc.). Has some nice features: Can turn the lights on the clock off while you sleep, or have them set to dim, or have them on the brighter side (but not too bright). You can cycle through all the colors to use as a lamp, you can adjust the brightness of white to use as a lamp (don't think you can adjust the brightness of the other colors), and you can snooze easily.Probably my favorite lamp yet. Only downside is that the gradual light wakes me up earlier than the alarm and there's no way to adjust the duration of the sunrise feature

I like that I can customize this pretty well (I could turn the clock light off because it was too bright to sleep, I could turn off all wake-up sounds), and it is very easy to use.I was a little put-off that the product packaging has no company name or information (address), and that it is from China and does not carry any US safety tags (not UL listed). The instructions warned not to look at the light for extended periods, but my eyes are very uncomfortable when I look at the light for just a brief second.My main reason for returning this product is because the sunrise stimulation turns off after 4 minutes once it's reached it peak (example: you set the alarm for 6am, at 5:30am the light turns on and gradually becomes brighter, reaching it's peak at 6am - and shutting itself off at 6:04am). I want the light to remain on until I shut it off, just like an alarm clock.

I have a bedroom that gets almost zero natural light. Since moving in a year ago, I've really struggled to get out of bed in a timely manner. I can sleep through just about any alarm, and have developed a habit of unknowingly turning off my phone alarm in my sleep. But this alarm has changed that- the light alone is enough to wake me- usually before the gentle music even begins to play. It's a much more peaceful way to be awaken than a screeching alarm clock and/or my husband shaking me and yelling that I'm late, lol! I've also really come to enjoy the sunset feature. When I climb into bed, I can set it to a 30 minute sunset and read until it is too dark. Usually by that point, I'm struggling to keep my eyes open and can fall straight asleep, which us pretty phenomenal for someone who has always been an insomniac. I definitely recommend this product!

Its an ok alarm clock. I wish i would of went with something else. I've had this anout 9 months and i don't really use it that much because of how its made. I don't like the sound options to wake up to. To me, they sound like a cordless phone ringtone, its really digital sounding...the birds and ocean sound don't sound that good. To turn the alarm clock off, you have to hold the clock in place because the button is kind of like a touch screen but the clock isnt heavy enough to press it, it just falls over or move. I like the light turning on, if i could just use the light and no sound as an alarm, then i would probably give it 3 stars. It wasn't worth the money for me unfortunately.
