Knee-Patch Horse Riding Pants

I am 5ft3 and am an athletic/muscular 150ish lbs. I bought a size medium. I ordered the Rose color which is a very vibrant bright deep pink, just like the picture. I have lots of tattoos and they are not visible thur the pink color at all. Even outside. The fabric is super stretchy!! Which is awesome. The pocket fits a standard smart phone very well and there is a pocket on each hip. My next order will be a size smaller as the medium is comfortably snug with lots of room. Not baggy,but I prefer them to be a bit tighter. Ill update if the thighter the fit if its see thru. These are high waisted! Which is very nice. But if you're needing to keep jiggly bits or mom pooch in, go a size smaller or wear control top undies. I bought these to ride in during the summer months at home and am very happy with my purchase as they are breathable. They remind me of durable gym tights. I will be ordering more 🥰

Nice material, good fit, good color, and it has pockets!

If you need a cheap pair of show tights, these are probably the best you'll get for cheap. That said, there's a reason for the price point. The pattern seems to be designed to fit the most possible different body shapes, but not particularly well. The inseam was SOOOO long, as with all the cheapy breeches I buy online...I've just come to expect it. It takes a bit of maneuvering to get the pants settled so that the knee patches are remotely in the correct areas, and even then, they cover a generous area of your leg that isn't knee. They are absolutely on the transparent end. You'll definitely want some light colored underwear for underneath because they're basically see through. They are very stretchy (of course, they want them to fit just about all sizes of people) but because of the cut, some areas could use more stretch and some, less (this isn't really possible if you use all the same fabric, but that's why you make the pattern so, e.g. the front has less material than the back). I have a feeling if you were to split the pants into the front half and the back half, they'd be identical, save belt loop placement. I don't know about you, but my backside is rather larger than the front side. They've been washed three times and haven't fallen apart--that's good--but unfortunately the care tag says no bleach. SOMEONE polished my saddle up for my show (thank you very much!) but...didn't actually wipe it down thoroughly after applying the polish and, well, fast forward, that leads to a butt and crotch that are now stained blue where they came into the most contact with the saddle. It did not come out with stain remover so I may risk the bleach...or I may just not wear them for shows (I mean, you can't really see it when I'm in the saddle, although it would probably be visible at the rising trot). I did include a photo that I've marked with where the knee patches begin and end, for reference, on my leg, while fully extended. I'm just a shade under 5'4" with about 28-29" inseam. If you're wearing tall boots or half chaps, a large part of that is going to be covered up. If you're riding in paddock boots, you can probably make use of more of that patch. And, on the subject of that, it's not super grippy, but just what I'd expect from suede (or probably faux suede). I don't always want my riding pants to be super grippy, so it wasn't a problem for me, but if you're looking for extra grip, these won't work for you. They are lighter weight, not winter breeches, but not ventilated either, and on a 80F day outside in the sun, I was too hot (but I overheat easily). There are definitely better riding tights out there, but you'll pay a lot more. For relatively casual use, or if you have long legs and are quite slim, these would be fine, but probably not my go-to for high quality and style.

I’m riding in them tomorrow but rating them now because I’m already so impressed. I was breaking out from sweat in jeans or cotton riding pants so I needed something that would wick away moisture. They fit true to size and I’m thrilled with the length. I have long legs with a 31 inseam. These pants are plenty long. I’ve already ordered another color. Living in Florida these will be my go-to riding pants.

These riding pants are lightweight and very comfortable in terms of fabric, and I really liked the length, it was great for tucking into boots. The color is beautiful and exactly what I was hoping for. The fit was the only issue for me. They were just a little too small around the waist and hips, which made them slightly uncomfortable. If you’re between sizes or prefer a bit more room for movement, I’d recommend sizing up. On the positive side, I really liked the knee-patch design and zipper pockets, they’re functional and add a nice touch for schooling or casual riding. The material feels breathable, so they should work well in warmer weather.

I really like these they are comfortable and although I was worried they would be to see through because of other reviews if you just where skin colors like tan of beige it’s fine. These will work great for show hack

Love these considering getting another pair if I ride more then once a week. Zip pocket fits my Samsung S22Plus.

I never take the time to write reviews. So a product must be absolutely exceptional for me to bother with a review. I've been riding and working with horses all my life and I've never been so comfortable. My previous riding tights annoyed me as I had to keep pulling them up and adjust them as i moved around. However, these beauties stay put. I wore these to the stable today. They hug in the most comfortable way and are light! I didn't pull at my pants even once!! I also love that they fit tall, plus size rider. Note to manufacturers: thank you for a wonderful product please keep making it and don't change a thing!! I already came back to buy more, I now have 9 pairs!! I'll be back for more in the different colors.
