Works Well Enough For Windows 10 / Skype
I was skeptical of this purchase because of the low cost, but so far I like how this headset performs for Skype meetings. As such, I'll keep this short and to the point:Pros - Works well with Windows 10 and Skype. Setup was as simple as plugging the headset into a USB port and selecting it for use in Skype settings after Windows 10 Notification Center said the device drivers were installed and configured for use. Volume controls and microphone mute work within Skype. I have received good audio quality reports when the Skype connection is solid, so the microphone appears to be working well within the configuration. The ear pads are comfortable. There is enough of a seal from the ear pads to keep most ambient noise out. The headphones are on-ear for those of you wanting to know. I like longer cords for my headsets so that I can move around my cubicle while I'm using them. The cord for this headset is sufficiently long for me to do that. Before I list my dislikes, I have to put it out there that I am fussy about headsets. I have spent years behind a microphone while wearing headphones, so I know what I want out of my equipment. That said...Cons - The microphone is advertised as having a 180 degree swing; this is completely wrong, at least with the headset I received. When I read that specification for the mic boom, I was excited because it is hard to find a headset that you can wear with the microphone on either the right or left, which would have been inferred from the 180 degree swing specification. This is a left ear only headset with about 120 degrees of swing for adjusting the microphone boom. Yes, the boom is flexible, but it still doesn't allow for the mic to be placed on the right side. The reason this is important is because not all computer users have access to a USB port on the left side of their work area. My workstation is on my right side. When I want to use my keyboard, I'm reaching across and around the USB cable from the headset. One word of warning that could be a Con or a Pro depending on individual preferences - when the headset is first plugged into my workstation, the audio volume is set at 100%. I have tried adjusting settings in Windows Control Panel and the sound mixer, but my workstation forgets any of the settings I save. In case this happens on your workstation, you may want to check the volume to adjust it before you start using the headset.4 stars is too little for the headset, but 5 is not warranted. Let me split the difference and call it 4.5 stars because of my desire to have a mic boom that can be worn on either the right or left side. Otherwise, it's a surprisingly good performer for the amount I paid.

Sonitum USB Headset does what it should for the price.
This truly is the little headset that could (DOES!) I've got several of these kicking around my home office and my actual work office. Ain't gonna lie, I work in a call center environment and I've lost my temper with a user and thrown my headset and busted it. Nice to have an extra around. Anyway, I love that this one is inexpensive for that reason. Beyond that, in my recordings, you can't hear any of my coworkers in the background...and trust me, they are some loud talking individuals. (ie..noise cancellation is A+, so is sound quality) I dinged the volume control as the inline controller has lights that have been known to go out, so you don't know if you're on mute or if you're 'ready' to talk. It's still usable, but it's a crap shoot whether or not you'll have to repeat your greeting or not.Bottom line, I love this headset and it saddens me that others don't see it for what it is. An inexpensive yet quality for the price headset.

So far my experience with this product is below 'meh'I've bought better USB headphones roughly worth the same pre-sale price that actually had bass.I bought this because I broke my other pair accidentally sleeping on them one night.Bought with a few other things, shipped from China (presumed, shipped with 2 other items that I know came from China), took about 10 days.Pros:Sturdy Faux-braided rubber cableIt plays sound (better than nothing/broken)Cons:Mic doesn't work (which is what broke predominantly on my other headset)No bass whatsoever. The cord-based control is wonky, very sensitive to accidental presses.Cord-based control is close to headset to be convenientWould NOT purchase at full priceMy busted pair is a turtle beach like ps4 headset I got for 11 bucks at walmart. Mic quit out on me, but that headset still plays quality lows. That's what makes this pair frustrating, I can't get the mic to work and that's what I needed it for. Decent if you can find on sale. The seller also sent me 2 emails begging me to review, so they want to make sure their customers are satisfied.Post-Seller-Communication edit:Seller has contacted me in response to my review. They've offered a full refund to me while refuting this was shipped from China. I am appreciative of their quick communication. My review was tweaked to give an accurate assessment of my situation. Happy shopping

Great value entry-level headset for call center work
My initial impression of the headset is that for the price it's a great deal. Calls are noticeably richer in bass than the Plantronics sets provided where I work. Setup was as easy as plugging in a cord and it was picked up by Avaya without issue. The microphone is very adjustable compared the the Plantronics I've used. The only drawback that I can find with this headset is that for being an on the ear cuff, it doesn't block out as much brackground chatter as I thought it would. It does make up for this in it's audio clarity and volume.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase but I see it more as an entry-level headset and one that I will use before purchasing a higher end set.Tl;Dr fantastic for the price, doesn't block out as much background as you might think
