Motorcycle Head-Up Display with integrated navigation, communication, camera and music

I bought this after watching and waiting, the wait was worth it. Improved sound, updated software, incredible support!After only two weeks of owning this unit, I messed up and dropped it while riding ( I didn’t clip it all the way down in the mount, my fault). For another two weeks I hunted high and low to find it as by the time I got back to the area it came off, someone found it. Needless to say I got it back miraculously after finding someone online trying to sell it. Yes, I must have a horseshoe up my ass. It was a little scratched up but turned on. It took a hard hit, but did not break or crack.I was astounded, but my combiner mirror was damaged. I promptly messaged support in hopes they would sell me a new combiner (after all it was my fault), but they would not! They WOULD, however, send me one for FREE instead!!! WHAT?!A week later the rains came and I had my first experience riding with the NUVIZ in the rain. It was all good in the hood till a day later the screen had a discoloration to it. I noticed some condensation in the camera and the screen started to flicker! Oh snap. The fall must have opened up some little crack and let some water in. I was devistated!!Let me tell you, I was not thrilled to find that I had NOT added the warranty coverage Amazon offers for this little gem... a huge mistake on my part and a falling feeling began in my stomach.In my duress, I sent an email to support... a literal plea for salvation of this new paperweight I had purchased. I couldn’t believe what their reply was...“Hi Justin, sorry to hear about the issues you're having with your NUVIZ!I've attached a FedEx return shipping label for you to bring to your nearest FedEx location along with your device. I have a replacement unit ready for you, so as soon as your old one gets here I'll get it in the mail for you.”Attached was also a shipping label! I didn’t even have to pay to return it or get it back!!!!Listen, you don’t get service like this anymore ANYWHERE!! Not only was this a good device, that I am confident in a little more refinement over time will be an amazing product with minimal tweaks (like compatibility with other users with headsets of other brands) and very few other things.If you’re looking for a stand-alone device to cover navigation, calls, music, and video/photos with a in field of view display all in a single well thought out device that has a pretty good battery life and quality overall... and an AMAZEBALLS support staff and an even more amazing philosophy of customer service, support, and experience... then THIS DEVICE and this company is IT!!!!!! Look no further.

I bought this back in April and immediately loved it. Everything about it was amazing and incredibly handy for bikers. It was easy to use and offered a simple add-on HUD solution for most existing helmets.And then the system simply stopped being supported. I can't even post a route anymore to use the GPS navigation, which for me was the primary purpose. The company hasn't responded to my emails. Parts of the web page don't always load. My profile is glitched. The application itself constantly glitches even after doing several fresh reinstalls.This was an amazing product that did a double backflip into a fiery pit of despair. I suspect they went out of business.

Information view is great, lifetime map updates, mildly shock prone, and audio isn't the greatest. I was rear ended by a drunk driver at a red light, and the unit came off the helmet mount. I was fine, bike was totaled. 6 months later, finally got a replacement bike, first ride since the accident, I find that closing my lid causes a reset. I happen to live in Southern California, so I took my unit back to Nuviz main office in San Diego and explain what happened. They took my old unit and handed me a new one, including my surprisingly undamaged combiner and my original battery, even though my original purchase was just over a year ago. So, although there's no phone number to call, their customer service is exceptional. With a better amp and group bt connectivity, this would be hands down 5 star the only unit you'd ever need or want.

I waited over a year to buy Nuviz. The HUD mounts (glued) to the face of the helmet. The glued mounting plate is perfectly flat. My helmet (where the HUD needs to mount so you can see it) - the helmet has a gentle curve in that area, making it impossible to securely mount the plate without leaving significant gaps on the edges. Not a good thing when the HUD is glued on and you're going 65mph through the wind. My point - NUVIZ has refused to reply to my email inquiries on this problem. It's incredible. If they just tried to help me work through this, I would gladly keep the device. But they can't, or won't. I tried looking up a phone number on the internet, no such luck. So, I sent it back and will wait for somebody else to come up with better (or should I say - existing) customer support.

My only problem is the audio is way to quiet it is unhearable especially during ride. The headset is too quiet and when you pair the nuviz with the sena which is plenty loud the Nuviz lowers the volume to unhearable levels.However the nuviz has a step by step turn instructions time and speedometer. Which is nice I wish they had an ik interactive map like google maps or at least show similar to google maps.but everything that includes audio is worthless.
