It's way too small to support an iPad at any ...
It's way too small to support an iPad at any angle other than nearly straight up and down. The main reason I got this was I wanted to adjust the hinged angle so the iPad would bend back further to be easier to see while it sat on my counter displaying recipes in my kitchen, but adjusting the stand at even the slightest angle the iPad weight makes it top heavy and it falls backward. It would allow displaying an iPhone at all sorts of angles but is very limited for an iPad. The photo including an iPad is somewhat misleading since it's not going to be anything more than a regular fixed-angle stand for an iPad - the adjustability (which was the selling point for me) is un-usable for a tablet.
