First day trying these out with my dog so I will update this review if necessary. For reference my dog is 65lb lab mix and can chew pretty agressively.The rawhide comes in a large bag without a seal so I had to find a way to keep them airtight. I am not sure if this is necessary.I buy these flat rawhide chews because my vet stated that the pieces that break off from these are easily digestible unlike other rawhide chews that are in various shapes. Also unlike other dental chews, like Greenies, which my dog eats in about 30 seconds flat, my vet states that these will help keep my dogs teeth clean from prolonged chewing.The sizes of the pieces vary greatly which you can see in the picture. I imagine that it will be difficult to break the larger pieces in half which are way too big to give to my dog in my opinion. The reason I bought these was because the brand I normally buy from Amazon almost doubled in price so I went searching. These seemed good with all the claims of ECO, 100% natural, no preservatives, etc. I do not know if these are just marketing tactics or if it is actually true.My dog loved these and took about 20 min exactly to get through one of them. These do seem larger and thicker than Virbac C.E.T. Enzymatic Oral Hygiene Chews, Extra Large Dog, 30 CountVirbac C.E.T. Enzymatic Oral Hygiene Chews, Extra Large Dog, 30 Count the ones I used to buy. Additionally if you compare price per pound these are way cheaper.

I was surprised at how many came. It's a really big bag! We have 2 dogs both close to 100 pounds and these last a good 5-6 weeks. These chews are really large so I started cutting them in half with my tin snips. Seriously can't go wrong with these. My wife was spending about $70 every 2 weeks before I found these. We're saving money and the dogs are happy, wife's happy and I can afford more refreshing adult canned beverages. Win Win !!

These are the only rawhides our two boys will eat. These are quite thick, nearly twice as thick as most stores carry. Well worth the money!!! 🐶

Ok, I will be honest, I was really worried when I first bought these since the pictures in the product description didn't have the word safety spelled correctly so I had some reservations about how these were made. I was surprised about the number of them in the box, how thick they were, the size, and how well they last.I get the unflavored ones and the dogs don't seem to mind! However, I'm not quite ready to try them myself to rate the flavor so, hopefully, my 4-star rating on behalf of the dogs is accurate :)My 16 year old border collie gets quite excited when the box arrives! He loves these! The sizes of the pieces are pretty consistent and they are thick, not paper thin like some brands are. I have border collies and larger collie mix dogs so having bigger rawhide chips is a plus! They are also pretty aggressive chewers, these last pretty well.The rawhide chips/strips are tied together in the bag with plastic stripping like what you secure heavy items onto a pallet. The strapping is kind of weird and a bit annoying when you are trying to give the dogs a distraction quickly. The bags are not resealable which isn't so much of an issue in a dry climate like I'm in (UT) however, moving to a hot and humid state in the future, I will need to invest in a food-safe plastic tote to keep these in the pantry so they don't go bad.I think these are great value for money, especially when compared to pet-store retail. I have 4 dogs so food, treats, and chews take a decent portion of the monthly budget so, buying in bulk saves those pennies, and these are great to use as a reward after training or when my pups go into their crate.Rawhide chips have been great to help with cleaning teeth, our newest rescue dog even though he's young (around 2-4 years) his teeth look about the same as my old border collie! His teeth are starting to look better now with these chews. I don't let my dogs chew them when they get too small, and they only get them after a meal. One of my dogs is notorious for barfing bones back up on an empty stomach and some rawhide does it too but, having these after a meal has been ok.

This was my 2nd order. I have a large breed aggressive chewer. These last so much longer than rolled rawhide I buy at Walmart. Tend to last her 2 days. I’ll buy again ! First time I bought a 1lb bag. Second order, I bought the 3lb bag !

Great Behavioral Dog Chewing Treat Solution., 1 pound bag.It was very disappointing to find that these Raw Hide Chips are totally NOT thick Cut at all! They are just the regular, thin, white rawhide chips like everyone else is selling!This is very annoying to me because I already have a huge bags of the thin white rawhide and I specifically was trying to buy thicker, somewhat puffier, rawhide chips for my dogs who like the puffier style chip.I used to buy extremely nice, thick, puffier, Rawhide Chips from Fosters and Smith years ago. They were awesome and came in plain and flavored, and didn't damage tender dog mouths and gums! My dogs absolutly loved those Rawhide Chips! I have been looking for that thicker, puffier kind of Rawhide chips ever since the F and S company got bought out by Petco, who then discontinued all those great F and S products!Because this 1 lb bag of Rawhide Chips is advertised as a thick cut rawhide chip, I had hoped I had finally found something similar to what I used to buy from F and S!Sadly in my case, these are totally NOT thick at all! Some of them are even thinner looking than other brands. I feel that this is False Advertising, so I am returning these chips ASAP because of that!
