Clover CL1059 Amour Crochet Hook: 15.00 mm, Multi

Bought to replace a lost one of a cheaper brand. The handle is thinner than I am used to using, so it took a while to adjust but now I have, I love it. Operation is really smooth and I don’t have to keep stopping to polish it like I did with my previous one. Will definitely buy this brand again.

I use all sizes clover hooks but the number one the most. So just got this one as spare.

Such a lovely crochet hook, I've have had no wrist pain at all since using this hook over the simple metal one I had before. Such a worthwhile purchase if you're crocheting a lot.

I’m slightly disappointed in this hook. I love it generally, the handle’s nicely shaped and it’s really comfortable to use, so that’s wonderful if you’re using normal yarn. I however have been using a lot of raffia recently which is a lot stronger than normal yarn, I found with my other cheaper hooks that the rubbery handles were sliding off as I used the raffia. So I bought this hook hoping it would be stronger and the handle would stay put. Unfortunately it hasn’t, the rubber is sliding off of the metal and it’s leaving a baggy bit at the end of it. So it’s just not okay for the purposes I bought it for, the clover soft touch hook I got is much better for my uses, but if you’re using normal fibres this one should be good for you!
