You need very steady hands to solder in place in toothbrush if you follow the instructions on You Tube it takes you through it very well, Just one thing they miss out if you have the separate charging base you can undo the base of the toothbrush with it a lot easier than using a screwdriver. worth the effort brush better than new now due to more powerful battery that lasts longer.

Just going to give an average score here because in truth i never used the battery. Seems that changing the battery in one of these toothbrushes is not that straight forward. I thought that i would just screw off the bottom, switch it over and away you go. Oral B have soldered these batteries in place so you must "unsolder" the existing battery and then solder the new one in. As such after struggling to get the toothbrush apart i decided just to buy a new one (all part of Oral B's master plan of course)!

I bought this as the description leads you to believe that it is some form of specific replacement battery for Oral-B toothbrushes. When it arrived however it was obviously just a standard AA 2500mAh rechargeable battery! Not only is it much longer than the shorter/wider oral B battery but at £10.50 it is about 10 times the price of what you would normally pay for an identical rechargeable battery!!I considered complaining and returning the product but i am too busy. My advice would be to avoid this battery and supplier and either:1. try to find a true like for like specialist replaceable battery ie same dimensions/charge etc from a different supplier or2. buy the most powerful standard rechargeable AA battery you can find and just use that instead. You will pay about 6quid for 4! Although longer, it is easy enough to just leave out the retaining spring without the battery being too loose.PS: for those who are asking about how to physically replace the battery there are very good videos on you tube and it is pretty simple. As a previous reviewer mentioned, this battery IS longer, but you CAN replace the retaining spring as it stands, it is a tight fit though (failing that, just cut a coil/coil and a half off the spring to make it less of a tight fit!). it is not a AA battery as mentioned by another reviewer either!That said, i found this to be a suitable replacement. it has given a new lease of life to £200 toothbrush that otherwise would have been recycled and a replacement bought. it has charged without issue and appears to be working as new! only 4 stars as it is longer than the old battery but still near enough a direct swap!

Battery arrived quickly. It is slightly longer than the original but not an issue.Youtube has a good description of how to open the Oral B Triumph range.Just beware that it requires some specialist tools (1.6mm Torx), careful soldering and minor modification of the solder tabs to fit this battery.What was a £150 toothbrush (4 years ago) and about to be binned, is now as good as new.

Thought I would have a go at changing the battery myself after seeing a 'youtube' vidio of an 11 year old doing the job. Took about half an hour. I now have a toothbrush that last a week rather than a day. Thanks Amazon and thanks you 'youtube'.Kris

Not a good replacement. My original Braun battery lasted 2 years before it needed replacement. I bought this less than 1 year ago and now it will no longer fully charge.

Super Sache, so muss man sich keine ganz neue Zahnbuerste kaufen, die natuerlich um einiges teurer waere als so ein Ersatzakku.Er haelt bei zwei bis dreimal taeglicher Benutzung ungefaehr zwei Wochen, mit der Oral B Triumph 9000.

la bateria llego antes de tiempo. se la adapte al cepillo y funciona perfectamente. ccomo si fuera nuevo. todo muy recomendable y el precio muy correcto

Arrivato molto in anticipo rispetto ai tempi di consegna previsti. Con un pò di manualità e i giusti attrezzi si riesce a sostituire (non è colpa della batteria ma di Oral-B con la sua complicazione). Per il momento non mi ha dato problemi, ricarica in linea con i tempi della batteria originale e consumo nell'ordine dei 7/8 giorni a seconda dell'utilizzo (noi siamo in tre).

Livraison rapide, démontage de la brosse à dent, élimination de la soudure à 6 endroits, puis resoudure, remontage, et voilà une brosse à dent avec une semaine d'autonomie à la place de la journée avant.

La empresa respondio muy bien, pero el producto es muy malo, no tiene la misma medida que la original y en menos de dos meses ya no funciona.
