On the package: Oregon 02-040 1/4' and 3/16" hose clamp ID .455" made in USA. UPC 032488020409.In the package: 10 spring clamps, painted redThese clamps are identical to the Hillman product 59734 which is listed as a 1/2" clamp which is accurate as they fit 1/2" OD hose or tubing. Closed (relaxed) diameter on this clamp is .455", open (expanded) is about .53" . These clamps go slightly out of round when fully expanded.One star off for not indicating that the 1/4" and 3/16" on the package refers to the hose ID.

Hose Clamp (10 Pack) Part No. 02-040 for 1/4-inch and 3/16-inch Fuel Line with an Inner Diameter of .455-inches from Oregon -I recently changed out fuel in my Motorcycle tank. It required removing the tank entirely, to slosh clean gas around in the tank as a precaution to contaminate clogging the filtered outlet three way valve. The hose clamps were not standard clamps and were a pain to get ahold of and loosen, so I needed to change them out. This is a good solid clamp for these hose clamps I replaced. The loosen with pliers and hold very tightly around the hose and nipple. If you need one, you may just be able to go to the automotive store or hardware store and find one. These from Amazon were fine with me to order a 10 pack and have extras. The red color is nice if you drop one in the grass, as I did and immediately thought this color was for finding a dropped clamp. I like it!

Oregon always makes good quality parts. If you need fuel line clamps, get these.

There are plenty of reviews, so I'm mostly writing this to state the facts: the inner diameter of the hose clamps is 11.5mm, when contracted and 13.9mm when fully expanded. Different hoses have different outer diameters (O.D.), so one cannot simply say what kind of hose they'll fit, especially since hoses are usually sized by inner diameter (I.D.) as their flow capacity is what matters the most, and that depends on their cross-section, which is directly proportional to the I.D. I happened to use them with 1/4" fuel hose and they were perfect for it, but as others have pointed out, for a thin-walled 1/4" hose, they will be too wide. Thus, make sure that the O.D. of your hose is just under 13.9mm and you will be fine. I also used a 5/16" I.D. fuel hose in my project and this clamp would not fit it, but it wasn't supposed to.I cannot say anything about long-term performance because I just used them, we'll have to wait. The clamps are coated (the red color), so they are most probably not stainless steel, so it will be up to the coating. You may need to use extra corrosion protection, if used in a harsh environment (e.g., the underside of a car).

Only 4 stars because I only got 8 in the package, not 10 as stated in the ad. Only needed 40 anyway so the rest went in the tool box for another time.
