This is far better than using purple shampoo, however the tone of your blonde hair still matters, if there are different shades of blonde you will get different results through your hairI recently dyed my root growth and it was extremely yellow, after toning I used this black shampoo, for about 45 mins which is too long, the bottom of my hair is fully grey, which is amazin! Had it been purple shampoo it would have had purple hues, even though the roots aren’t as grey it still turned them ashy which I much prefer over purple hues

Product smells amazing with a very strong grape scent. It has definitely helped with my brassy tone in my hair but I will say it makes my hair very dry so just be aware that.

After 2 washed my hair became cold blond, and I forgot about purple shampoo for forever!I like how it brings the colour that you had on your first day of balayage, and keeps it for forever — I couldn’t even have this result with the purple shampoo 1 a week.An amazing value of money as I believe there is no other alternatives on the market.It also doesn’t dry the hair after the wash, which is amazing as I always had to take extra care of my hair after purple shampoo. I would highly recommend!!!

Bought this to take the brassiness out of my bleached hair. Does exactly that. Left it a beautiful ash silver, after only 1 wash. It’s expensive but it does the job.

After spending a small fortune purchasing purple shampoos and conditioners only to find my blond highlights still brassy and yellow. I bit the bullet an bought Milkshake black shampoo. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. Smells lovely, lathers up great, gets rid of the brassy yellowness in one wash and it lasts for a couple of washes so no need to wash your hair everyday making it worth the money you spend. I've used it for a couple of weeks now and I'm so happy with my hair colour now. This will now be my definite go to shampoo for as long as I have blonde highlights.

Smells lovely , but made my hair very frizzy, and shampoo felt heavy in the hair .

Really great shampoo. Does not dry my hair out and smells lovely. It’s quite expensive but this was in place of paying for a toner recommended by my hairdresser so for me was worth it for increasing the longevity of my colour.
