Great alarm clock, my son depends on it to wake for school. Big numbers, and illuminates in darkness.Had it now for nearly 5 months, thought it malfunctioned when all you can see was a bright light on the screen with no numbers - it just needed a battery changed (so I know to do this in about 4 and a half months!). Does the job!

Does what it says in the description, big and clear and easy to set up. It is boxy and plasticy as the price implies but that as expected but... come night time, it needs to be very dark before the backlight comes on. So probably great for the bedroom but I bought this for my dad who likes to sit in the dark will watching tv, now it has a small box resting on the top to kid the clock it is darker than it thinks - hence only three stars

Not a good product. The bedroom is well lit up by this clock at night and it eats batteries for supper. The worst part about this clock is when you find out that the batteries are dead and you're late for work. Ive missed the deadline now to send this back after the 3rd set of batteries since giving this as a xmas present. Soooo not happy.

I was looking for a travel alarm clock, this is a bit big for that, portable being a relative term. The display is excellent. I do not use the night illumination facility on it. I don't like any lioght in the bedroomwhentrying to sleep. It does have a 'light up' facility to press and read in the dark.It lasts 6 secs and is pretty bright! It is easy to set up and selcct the options it offers The alarm is lound enough. My old alarm clock was not loud enough to penetrate my deteriorating hearing. This one does!

Large, easy to read display and this clock has a good solid feel to it. The display adjusts to the available light so the time and other data can be easily read at night without having to resort to use of the night light. I purchased this model because of the ambient temperature feature and this seems to be quite accurate when I've checked the readout against other devices. The alarm should penetrate even the deepest slumber and being battery operated the clock is easily portable. Very pleased with this purchase.
