I've noticed that the photo I've uploaded is similar to another disappointed customers where the "metal" used to encase the blades has literally snapped! If you look carefully, you can see that it is powdery inside, so clearly a non-fit-for-purpose composite material. Yes, the blades are stainless steel, but the rest is this awful material painted silver - no kidding. I strongly advise against buying this set. It might look pretty, but is also pretty awful... and dangerous. Thankfully Amazon have agree a refund when I send it back. When it comes to gardening equipment, use a recognised brand.

This is my second set of these. I was so pleased with them I also gave some as gifts. The recipients were delighted with them. They are sharp and comfortable to use. Unfortunately only too easy to lose. I shall be more careful with my second pair.

These secateurs and snips are so sharp and easy to use. They fit my hand perfectly and the mechanism is so easy - which is particularly important for me as I have very arthritic hands and find some other secateurs too heavy and stiff. A great find.

I'm really pleased with this set... the secateurs fit beautifully into the palm of my hand and consequently there is less pressure on my wrist. Very pleasing :)

Wouldn’t recommend these. The mini secateurs are not much use. Only using them for my craft work, cutting twigs and driftwood. They have buckled already. The snips are good for dead heading flowers etc

Bought these for a gift after receiving some myself a couple of years ago. They are fantastic tools for ladies. The size is ideal for smaller hands, especially if you have a touch of arthritis. They remain sharp and are very accurate. Highly recommend.

I have other secateurs for the garden but needed some to carry for when walking woods and coastline - love them.
