Did the job perfectly
I needed to replace my floor switch & handyman had to solder a piece to base of switch but it works perfectly. Highly recommend if you’re handy with electronics.

very mediocre product.
Trying to connect the electrical wires to the switch probably requires an electrician. No instructions are included and no clear way to install. Too complicated to return, so bottom line a waste of money as I needed to buy another switch.

Works well, not heavy duty, though
This product works perfectly, and it’s hard to understand other reviews that make a different statement. it is also easy to assemble and wire. The whole contraption is indeed lightweight, and might not work forever, but it certainly does its job.

Not standard floor switch.
This floor switch is not constructed in the same way as most others on the market. Does not match any videos or instructions I found online for replacing this item. Another review says it requires soldering. Worthless to me.

requires soldering. flimsy plastic. works fine.
This does what it is supposed to do, but note that it requires soldering to connect the lamp cord. The plastic feels flimsier than the broken unit this replaces. With these caveats, it seems to work fine.
