Metal Storage Cabinet with Locking Doors and 2 Drawers, Lockable Storage Cabinets with Adjustable Shelf for Home Office and Garage (White)

I was a little apprehensive about ordering this cabinet as I was worried it might be flimsy. I was wrong - this is well-built. It takes a little time to assemble, but the instructions were clear (if you have built anything from IKEA, this will be easier). We are storing cleaning supplies in the bottom, so the locking mechanism is nice to keep little hands from danger.

It requires assembly, but the directions are very clear, and it is not too difficult. The only tool you need is a No. 2 Phillips screwdriver. Everything is exceptionally packed to ensure no damage. I was amazed at the fact that they used sheet metal end caps and MDF pieces to protect the components.Assembly was a breeze, and there were no missing parts. I'd plan on 1 or 2 hours, depending on your ability to assemble things. The only quirk I found at the end was this: They give you three pairs of keys. I was thinking the three locks were keyed identically, but that's not the case. Each pair of keys is different. It's not a big deal if you never plan to lock it, but if so, then you have to use each key to lock/unlock, which is like having three doors in your house, and each one is a different key.While I plan to keep this open most of the time, I also plan on locking it since it is located in a guest room. Therefore 1 star dinged for this oddity.

Very sturdy

We are decluttering and bought this cabinet as a replacement for a large desk, that was only being used for the drawers and storage. I thought this would work since it had the two drawers at the top and then we could use all the storage in the cabinet for our small file boxes, the paper cutter, paper and other office supplies of which we don't have that much of. It did take the two of us a bit over two hours to put it together and thank God there was a video that we watched from the website because the written instructions were practically useless. Unfortunately the back part of one of the drawers literally broke off, so that sucked, though we can still use the drawer. One door doesn't close perfectly--the magnet thing doesn't catch on that door as well. Overall, I am giving this four stars as I think it's a bit pricey for what you get. My cabinet was packaged well and arrived in great shape with no dents or damage, so that was good. I could have done without all the keys though--for me, they are unnecessary and we won't be using them. In my opinion, 1 key should fit all the locks--who needs that many keys! I probably would have preferred that the doors closed with a different handle with a rod that goes into a hole in the top and bottom to keep the door closed as opposed to the little magnets. I am being a bit picky here with my review though, as it is a decent cabinet that meets our needs, though I think it was a bit expensive. The white color is a nice softer white in kind of a satin finish that looks really nice.

I love this locking cabinet. It’s sturdy and locks, so items in my office are safe from kleptomaniacs when I leave the room. I also like that the locks have different keys so I can control who has access to what. However, I ordered three of them, that’s nine keys and none of them fit the other cabinets. Which I understand keeps my things even safer because anyone can order one of these and try to access my things. That part os a little bit of a hassle though. I would order again so I hope the seller brings them back. I took away one star for a couple dings that occurred whilst assembling and won’t pop back out again. They happened in the exact same spot (on the backside so not major) so I consider it a flaw in instructions or craftsmanship.

The instructions were easy to follow, but I had to refer to the video a few times to ensure I understood. Took about an hour to set up. Decent quality for the price.
