'Allo 'Allo! - Series 5 - Volume 2 [1988] [DVD]

Very un-PC but very funny. No Double entendre left untouched.Not something that would get commissioned now.

We all know the plot of Allo Allo by now but the innuendos are still just as funny, how the series can make us laugh every episode is a credit to the writers actresses and actors, as I've said before this is a classical comedy and I hope the rest of the series will be released soon. So it's back to café Rene and all the scheming that is going on to get the British airmen back home , hiding the paintings and the cuckoo clock for when the war is over and trying to stop the resistance from blowing up the Germans. Rene is still avoiding Lieutenant Gruber having an affair with Yvette and when officer Crabtree Shows his face I can't wait for him to speak, his French language is absolutely hilarious, in fact all the actors & actresses perform there character perfectly.If you have bought all the other series of allo allo then you will buy this and any other series when they are released, after all we just have to see how it all ends in series nine, but first we have to see series six seven and eight. Please don't waste time releasing them.

I have to be honest, I had never once bothered with Allo Allo. Just one of those things really. However I went on Utube watched a couple of the clips at the time feeling a bit low. Well...it really made me Lol,and lifted my spirits, with the writing talents of the late David Croft who co-wrote the series of Dad's Army, and other. So I ordered the box set of Allo Allo from Amazon. I haven't watched a single episode,as yet, as we have just finished watching "Enemy At the Door" - a series I thoroughly Recommend.)but I know that in watching Allo Allo it will Certainly Be a real treat.

Good Moaning.It is I, leClerc.This is the best comedy World War II, occupied France spoof of all time.This show was made using the same sets as 'Secret Army' and was one million times more popular.Secret Army featured a French cafe owner who hid airmen but was serious television.This show made people laugh and guffaw.Nine years of comedy (World War II lasted only four years though.) whether it's Mimi laBonk, Madame Edith and her voice, Monsieur Alphonse and his dickie ticker and Yvette and her raucous libido.Buy this and the others DVDs, they'll have yoiu splitting your sides from D-Day up until now!

Season 5 was a massive 26 episode season and part 2 was the best. Rene has got Edith, Mimi, Yvette and now 2 communist resistance girls want him oh and Michelle leads him on. Flick and smlhousen go on more wacky adventures that will leave you in fits. Edith still can't sing and good moning to you all. Says it all lol Just like it should be which is funny as hell so get it.

As with all the series of 'Allo 'Allo! this volume is another pure delight, and can be watched over and over again, and stlll bring a wide grin to the faces of my wife and I every time we watch it, we look forward to each member of the cast as they make their entrance, knowing that they will come out with a gem of a performance every time.Don't hesitate to buy this product for you will enjoy it for years to come.Barrymac

Amazing how the same cast can go through so many costume changes and permutations of plot and yet keep the laughs coming.

I needed this one to complete the set. Excellent value and great fun to boot.They don't make em like that anymore!
