My high school students can't put this book down. They love perusing through the many careers that interest them. It gives them great information on skills, education and salaries of various careers.

Bought as a gift for my grandson. The layout and content is well designed.

I think even tho they can only go so deep into each job and the amount of jobs they. Theres a lot of options to choose from and it opens your eyes to the different types of job in a field. I think it was helpful. It gives you a great overview of the jobs and what you more realistically getting into job wise. The book honestly knocked a couple carrer paths out my options (for personal reasons) and I could not be happier bc I know if I went into that career and it was anything like the book said it was I would have completely wasted my money on a degree.

This the perfect book to help a young child(10-12 years of age) glance and learn about different careers. It may also help them consider a career they may which to pursue.

I purchased three of these books for my kids, ages 21, 17, and 15. They all have found it useful and easy to read and understand. The format is organized and easy to follow.

Our younger kids have really enjoyed reading about the different careers. We required all of them (ages 8-16) to read about a few and share about what they learned. This was a good way for our children to learn more about various careers.

Best for middle school aged students interested in learning more about several careers.

I bought this book a while back; I just started digging into it. I'm not impressed. It's well laid out, certainly. However, I would sooner recommend it for kids in elementary school than any teenagers. It's mostly pictures and extremely brief <emphasis on "extremely brief"> descriptions on what these careers do. It does not share what kind of education one would need to acquire to achieve these careers. They don't really do well at describing the careers.

Great book, easy to understand, has gave my daughter direction to what she wants to choose as a career and a clear path how to achieve this.

Excellent book. Made with thick laminated paper. Covers numerous careers across different industries. It also shows what can be expected in that job, and what level of education and/or experience is required. Mentions average salary scale for beginners and experts for each job.

This book is good to have as an initial source of information for those who may be thinking about which path to take for a career. Also as a guide towards what academic subjects to include in a study programme.
