Ecoegg 300 g Clay Hard Surface Cleaner, White

I bought this very sceptically after seeing the video but it really does work. I hate cleaning but have become slightly obsessive, trying to find something it won’t clean! It leaves a protective coating on cleaned surfaces, helping to keep them cleaner and repel water for longer. Things I have successfully cleaned so far: gold & silver jewellery; ceramic and stainless steel sinks and taps; crusty aga hob surround and front; stainless steel American fridge freezer; kitchen sides & cupboard fronts; grill pans; oven door glass; brass door handles; painted wooden doors; upvc window surrounds, sills frames & glass; baths; toilets; glass shower cubicles; tiled floors; tiled walls; and painted walls. Still looking for a challenge it can’t beat. You really don’t need to use much, so it lasts for ages, making it good value for money. After all the cleaning above there’s still over half left and I’ve cleaned almost everything already. As others have said for tough stains some elbow grease is needed, and it doesn’t get rid of limescale, but I use Viakal specifically for that and it’s highly toxic and noxious, it has to be because limescale is so difficult to get rid of. You wouldn’t want to use it everywhere or every day. For a natural, child, food and pet safe cleaner, I cannot recommend this product more highly.

I bought this to replace all those terrible chemical cleaners thar we use in our homes which are bad for the environment, bad for our health and bad for the water systems. This is a great all round cleaner. It’s good on ovens inside and out, I actually thought it was better than severe oven cleaning chemicals and I’m not going to inhale harmful chemicals. It’s also great for cleaning windows and the plastic exteriors. I think everyone is pre conditioned to believe that strong chemicals are best that they don’t often give natural solutions a chance. Yes you have to wash residue off but you have to wipe down after most cleaners because they are so dangerous and could kill you if your food gets in contact with them... so not sure why it would be a deal breaker for people, I think if that’s the worst of the problems you have, then you should think yourself very lucky 🙄 I’d also recommend people switch to using white vinegar around the house much more effective than most branded chemical solutions.

I’ve being using this fairly frequently and have been impressed with the results. It’s brought back the bright white of my grout and seals. Will be buying again. It looses a star however simply because for the price you don’t get a lot of product and certainly not what's shown in the picture which is misleading. Otherwise it’s a great product.

It does clean but very soon goes back to how it was. Certainly works well on sink and taps but does nothing to mold areas and it doesn't clean my oven as expected. I get the same efficiency with other products cheaper in price although not as healthy. The smell isn't great, hardly noticeable. Not impressed.

I bought this as I saw it being advertised in Fb and I am a sucker for anything that makes my life easier around the home. Well ladies this is the stuff to use I was totally amazed at how quick it got the glass clean on my oven. No harmful chemicals no spraying and then having to evacuate the room because of the fumes catching the back of your throat. I followed the short instructions, and hey presto magic. Oven door looks great. I have also tried it on the stainless sink results exactly the same. Use it properly and you WILL get the perfect results.

I used this on my sink at home which is wellish maintained, but lacklustre. With first use, I could SEE where I had reached clear metal, and where I was still grinding through muck. Second run and I could see the product pooling where it had shined it. So satisfying. I'm now attacking the office sink, and 2 coats in I can see that it is working (it's not brown any more!!) but it is going to take some more goes. It looks 10x better already though! My tip: Rinse the sponge out and use it sopping wet to wipe off the clay, as it does stick a tiny bit sometimes, and leave behind some grit unless you rinse and wipe thoroughly.

The best example I can give of what to expect from this is when people (who shall remain nameless) left leather/faux leather dining chairs resting against a hot radiator. The resultant melded brown colour left on the radiator was ugly and just too stubborn. I had tried many products but they never got it all off. When moving my kitchen and sorting my cupboards I found a product that I had ignored for years - very similar to this. The marks came off a treat! So I went looking for it again and it appeared to be discontinued - or perhaps renamed? - Because this product is pretty much the same. It has also been great a lifting marks of my natural limestone tiles, cleaning grout and brings up the chrome rings on my cooker a treat. Love it.

I checked the ingredients on this against the ingredients in Pink Stuff and it simply stated it was a special clay with a lemon smell. I check the ingredients on Pink Stuff and saw that contained soap and many other things so I went for this one. Upon receiving I noticed the ingredients were as near identical to pink stuff so I now had two identical cleaners. I decided to do a test, one half of my grubby white sink with pink stuff & one with this item. Pink stuff won hands down so it appears I have spent money with little gain.

Questa argilla mi ha subito conquistata: risultati eccellenti in cucina e box doccia senza intossicazioni da anticalcare! ...non do 5 stelle perché ho appena comprato la "universal cleaning paste" da lidl ( 500 g costano meno di 3 euro) che forse è un po' meno ecologica (dico forse perché sembra identica a vederla) ma ha la stessa efficacia a un costo molto più basso!

Bought this after having another brand. This is hard and drier when you get it. I added some water and used the scrubby to rough up the surface and soften a bit. I use this on my glass cooktop and it cleans wonderfully all messes. I have used this to scour sink and tubs. This will not get off hard water stains on shower doors but gets them clean and other surfaces clean. I think it works well. There is no smell to this.

Yes use it on your toilet, it combats our water scale issues and leaves the white porcelain shinny and new looking. I also use it for all stainless appliances, sinks and pots (make sure you rinse all eating surfaces completely). Cost is a little high but you don't need much product to complete the job.

I am sick of my stove top getting stained and cannot remove all the old stains that are settled in. I am currently trying this product. It does not remove everything, but it helps.

Shadazzle is better for my stainless steel sink. It’s ok but not the best I’ve used.
