These dice are smooth and lovely dark green with swirls of green throughout and finished in gold so the numbers look beautiful. You will love the feel of genuine stone. You can use them in any rpg play or put them on display with your miniatures. Comes with small faux leather drawstring pouch to store them. PLEASE NOTE; 12mm is often referred to as a MINI sized dice. Please be sure that you want 12mm small dice when ordering this set. We have used a quarter in the photo to show the size difference. The Dwarven Stones Malachite dice are a genuine stone product. There may be small flaws and imperfections in the dice. This is normal and usually enhances the item in its uniqueness. As these dice are no longer available from the manufacturer, we opened the package to take the photo. They are still new, unused dice, just opened to photograph them.

Chips way too easily to be usable, some numbers are offset on the facet, numeral 'inking' is chipping out.
Arrived with several of the dice already chipped at the edges. Comes with a tiny vinyl dicepouch that will rub the dice together very tightly when you take them in and out and pretty much ensure that the edges will get even more chipped, so they are kept in a velvet jewelry pouch instead. Just carrying them around will probably chip the dice edges even more (especially the d10). The numbers are different sized fonts on the different dice (which is good, I guess, since some of them will be bigger and easier to read), but they are often offset at different locations on the facet of the dice, no doubt from having to handle the numbering process manually. The inking of the numbers is a gold color that contrasts nicely with the green of the malachite, though it has already started to come out of the dice and they haven't even been rolled. Got them to be usable dice for a gnome Dungeons and Dragons character but these will be strictly display items only, and demos to others of why you don't get dice made of semi-precious stones.
