Summit Outdoor E1000 4 x 4 Straight Angle Elevator Brackets, Set of 4

Nice and well made. I think $20 a pc is a steal, that is like a treated 2x4 these days. A few things that I can see have missed a few buyers, lets fix that. Finished 4x4 are NOT 4 inch x 4 inch, it is 3.5 x 3.5, this is a fact that could get you in a bind with rough cut ect. Buy the right lumber 1st for your elevators. If you are raising a platform, remember the higher it is, the more stress one applies of the 2 legs that are down when you pull it up, this is where most seem to bent them. I am not going to suggest how to lift your blind if that is your purpose. There are many "how to" video and you can quickly see what works and what is not safe. I however am using these for a backyard bbq shack, I will post the final photos here when it is complete.

I like how easy this was to use. I also like how solidly it works .I used this to build a large overhead cover for my mini horse . That's not really what this was designed for, but , it is so well made , that it worked great .

Not sure the bracket are made by the manufacturer labeled. Parts scratched up and appear to be used. Maybe a possible return and then reissued. Box was damaged also.

I am guessing these would be okay for a small swing set or something but they are not very strong... nor would I recommend their straight up and down metal brackets (without any angle for the 4x4) for hunting blind platforms. it is very unstable for a tall stand (anything over 5ft). I actually wenched my stand up into the air ,for a 10 foot high stand, and had it collapse on me from bent metal with these elevators. I did the same thing with a much larger stand (16 feet high) and had no problem with another brand of elevators so it wasn't user error. Good fast 2 day shipping and okay for a small platform no more than 4-5 feet off the ground, maybe.

Great 4x4 supports and easy to install.

The brackets are 'functional' - but not well fitted. They are literally 4" square, not 3.5" as is the case for clean, commercial "4 x 4"s - and the rail supports are literally 2" - not 1.5", as is the case for clean, commercial "2 x 4"s, so the lumber does not attach well, requires shimming.for snug fit.Additionally, as these are straight, 90 degree uprights (not compound angle) - they really should be could be a little heavier gauge in the steel.They are OK for elevated storage in a garage or shop - but they wouldn't be my first choice for a loft-bed application as they advertise.

There are no screw holes where the metal meets the lumber, not very sturdy at all
