Arrived on time, seem to be good quality
Package arrived on date promised, nice packaging. We havenโt put them in place yet so I cannot speak to sturdiness, etc. No directions for set-up were included but pretty easy to figure out. They appear to be good value for money.

Good price
My husband looked everywhere for these and couldn't find them, so I ordered them. He set them up outside and they did the trick.

Works
Similar to the commercial ones. The key provided doesn't work well, so it is hard to open. But it does the job, once you manage to open it.

Quality of product
Used first time, when rechecked for bait the wires inside the traps that held the bait in place were missing along with the bait. Are replacement wires available? Apparently the traps are working well, but now I need to make new wires to hold the bait in place? Thanks now is necessary for me to try to make new for wires that are missing?

Easy to open and place bait
Easy to use. I bought some cubed bait to put in them and the rodents have eaten it all.

Mice/Rat/Vole Poison Holder
Pest control companies charge $300-600 for the same exact product. Buy these and some rat poison and place them wherever you see droppings. It is simply a holder for the poison, not a trap. Make sure the product is nowhere near pets like dogs and cats because the mice may carry the poison away from the box. Check for dead mice/rats/voles so your pets do not eat the carcasses of the poisoned rodent The box has locks preventing children from getting inside but the poison can be too easily shaken out of it

Assembly of this bait box... Not hard, but poor instructions...
This is a poorly made box that will work, but it seriously needs a set of instructions. I am a mechanical design engineer, and while I have seen a lot of products with poor instructions, I have never seen a product that is as poorly documented as this thing. I will go through the assembly steps and tell you what is wrong, and show you a video of how to assemble this thing. Step 1. "Take out the grey card slot bracket, and insert the rear fixing bolt into the card slot bracket." The card slot bracket is the piece that is above the key in the first picture. It is not grey, and there is no fixing bolt. Step 2. "Visually inspect the fixed position of the slot bracket, and mark it with a line." The card slot bracket, if you decide to use it, allows you to attach the bait box to a wall. If you decide to do this, you need to insert the bracket into the bait box. There are six slots on the back side of the bracket, the middle slots on either side will slip onto the raised prongs on the back of the bait box that are the part of the hinges for the lid. If you slip the bracket onto the box, then you can place the box where you want it attached to the wall, and you can mark the wall so you know where to drill the pilot holes so you can attack the bracket to the wall with screws. Step 3. Now step 3 makes sense... Once you have attached the bracket to the wall, you can place the bait box onto the bracket and it won't move... Step 4. The poison bait trough is good if you want to put RatX Or MouseX poison in the box. The steel wire is if you want to put a product like Tomcat Mouse or Rat Killer in the box. I prefer this because the mice or rats can spread RatX or MouseX around, and the Tomcat or other mounted baits they just nibble on it and they can't take it out and spread poison where other animals might get at it. Not great, but it will function... :-)
