If you found this, you are obviously a big Dishwalla fan. This is another killer addition to their previous four albums. Band is amazingly tight and solid, which is no surprise, and a very fine new vocalist proves his talent to front this band. JR is amazing with Dishwalla, and just as good if not better with his solo stuff. It would not be fair to compare the new singer to anyone else, but the guys I think he sounds a bit like are all primo vocalists. Really happy these dudes still love to make great music. It certainly matters to me and many other core fans from the very beginning happy to hear their music. Nice work guys! Get up to the SF area...

Not as good as other Dishwalla (no J.R. Richards) - but still VERY GOOD. If you are a Dishwalla fan, you want this. If you're not a fan - try any earlier CDs.

Long time Dishwalla fan. If you can go in with an open mind I believe you will find it is a good effort. I am not skipping over any songs when I listen, but that has never been an issue with this band. If you came back expecting J. R. Richards then you may be disappointed. If you want a great band with a solid singer then Dishwalla is back.

The new singer is good, BUT it feels a little less without their old singer J.R. Richards. STILL...its a good Dishwalla album.

Diehard Dishwalla fan and have been waiting a long time for this. Thanks Guys...its awesome and much needed in today's music. Ya still got it!!!! and just a shame you never got the accolades you all deserved.

The music is good. I was hoping for them to be a bit harder.

definitely not the same without JR Richards. With that in mind this is cd isn't bad. If it were another band I might give it 1 more star. But for a Dishwalla cd it's just ok. Definitely some good songs on here though. "Now I know", "don't fade away", "hand in hand" are my personal favorites.

Huge fan, but this makes me yearn to hear J R Richards I'm afraid. New singer is good but just lacks the emotion to make the songs 'feel' alive.

Might take you a little while to get used to Dishwalla without J. R. Richards, but it is a good album, and I'm really happy that Dishwalla is making music again!

Also, jetzt muss ich doch mal eine Lanze für das neue Album brechen. Wenn man sich von dem Gedanken an die Originalbesetzung löst und Musik und Band objektiv betrachtet, ist das Album gar nicht mal so schlecht. Die Songs sind gewohnt rockig (erinnert zuweilen ein bisschen an die Googoodolls), sehnsuchtsvoll und handwerklich einwandfrei. Auch wenn der neue Sänger niemals die Prägnanz und Qualität von JR Richards erreichen wird (der sich auf seinen Solopfaden ja immer mehr in die Balladenecke singt), so macht er seine Sache doch gut. Manko: das Pappcover, die fehlenden Songtexte und die Aufnahmequalität (eher schlecht). Natürlich würde auch ich mir Dishwalla aus vergangenen Zeiten und JR als Frontmann zurückwünschen (ich bin immer noch ein Riesenfan), aber wenn man diese Songs an sich und Dishwalla quasi als neue Band unter bekanntem Namen betrachtet, geht auch dieses Album unter die Haut.

Have to say it's Great for me to get this Dishwalla new album. (Thanks to Amazon JP, it can be shipped directly to China.) BUT if you are a long term fan, then you can't stop missing J.R. Richards. Fox is GOOD (personally I think he's PERFECT if he could work with a new band), do everything he could for Dishwalla, but the frontman standard of Dishwalla is too HIGH...(check out previous 4 albums in last 2 decades). I just imagine, if J.R. Richards do the performance for these tracks, what gonna happens? It should be the BEST. Anyway, this album is good to all Dishwalla fans, their 5th ROCKS. I will always put it in my car definitely.
