Fractal Design North

I've been looking for a PC case which would look great in my living room and it'll be hooked up to be TV. And I'm so happy to have found the Fractal Design North! Got the white color with glass and it looks fantastic and compliments well with the other furniture. On a technical front, the case is a very solid performer too. The temperatures are very, though not the absolute best. The case can accommodate a 355mm GPU and 170mm cooler, so will meet the requirements of majority of the PC builds out here (but not all!). The price is a little more than a "standard" case, but well worth it for me! Love this and hope Fractal Design continues with this design and performance language.

This case was fine to build in the only issue I have with it and the reason I only give it four stars is because my 4080 cannot fit with the radiator in the front other than that building and it was a breeze and it looks very nice

Me gusto su diseño muy limpio y estético y me encanto el detalle de madera real de la parte frontal. Es modular y muy facil de armar y desarmar. Tiene espacio para muchos ventiladores y su manual de instrucciones es muy claro. Viene con todos los accesorios necesarios de un gabinete. Me encanto, tengo dos iguales en casa.

Llevo con esta caja ya mucho tiempo y la verdad me tiene encantado, es muy fácil de montar, y es muy bonita de diseño. El panel lateral que no es de cristal y transpira aire con ventiladores es para mí ya algo necesario en todas las cajas de pc que tenga. También al panel delantero se le puede sacar para quitarle el polvo más fácilmente sin complicaciones. Es muy buena.

Upgrading a PC can sometimes be seen as a daunting task. There are so many components to choose from including where you house all those components. A case is a very subjective piece of the puzzle and for me having a 'mullet' case is what I wanted. Work in the front play in the back so to speak. Other considerations for me were airflow to keep the components cool and whether it meets the size for everything I want to put into the case. On top of that I did not want a HUGE case sitting on my desk, i needed something average sized. Pros: - This case is beautiful to look at. I have the white version and the Oak colour scheme matches the rest of my desk and room. - The case is very easy to work in. yes it is a little compact and needs some planning of components but not a very difficult case to work in. - Case provides very good airflow due to the front panel being fairly open and mesh on the top and back. Using quiet fans or setting fans to low noise still keeps the PC very cool. Cons: - Only one con for me really and that is the window panel version does not come with the fan controller. This is a little disappointing when I was building I thought it came with it (should have read more about whats included so my own fault) so had to use a bunch of fan splitter cables to get them all connected. In the end not a huge deal but something to keep in mind - you may need another fan controller or some splitters if you don't have any to spare Overall I would recommend this case if you like the design of it. There are some considerations that you need to think about, like using the mesh version side fans doesnt work with alot of GPU's or CPU coolers. You can only use a 240mm radiator on top if you are doing watercooling (I went with a 240 and its perfectly fine for my use case) - you do need to consider memory height if using 240 on top.. You can use a 360mm in the front but then are limited to what size GPU fits. so some considerations before buying components but overall a great case so far. No real complaints.

Installation was straightforward; I could easily set up my motherboard, NVMe drives, and modular PSU while keeping everything neat. The cable management options are fantastic, helping me keep the build clean and maximizing airflow. With the Peerless Assassin 120 SE RGB cooler installed, the North provides enough clearance for both my CPU cooler and RAM modules, while allowing the case fans to efficiently dissipate heat. The front panel airflow works perfectly with the stock fans and my additional Be Quiet fan on top, creating a balanced, whisper-quiet cooling setup. If you're looking for a stylish, easy-to-build-in case that supports powerful hardware with excellent cooling capabilities, the Fractal Design North is a perfect choice.
