This is perfect, the colours are beautiful and it's easy to apply to glass. I had originally bought a roll that was suppose to cling on with water but it just kept falling off, maybe it being in direct sunlight was the issue? Th is is so much better. It sticks well and does not peek off. It gives total privacy while still letting in the light. I didn't cover the full window on my landing because I wanted to see the tree in my garden and the birds that go on it. Being able to cut the pattern along what looks like lead of the stained glass window makes it look realistic. I'm very happy with it.

Hi. Five stars based on how good this looks once up. I would deduct stars for ease of application however. It took a while to get a truly acceptable finish and this took a while because it was used to cover ten windows in total 2x5 in two bay windows. Used to create a relaxing atmosphere in two bedrooms. These windows face the morning sun directly with no obstructions or shadows and although it took me a while to achieve a reasonably blemish free job, I did get it right eventually. I’m glad I persevered because the effect is a bit stunning. The morning sun is like a laser at the front of our house (an old stone built property) and we felt it would be foolish not to take advantage of it. We used Venetian blinds in our living room and properly adjusted the light in this room is vv pleasing and this window film has created an equally pleasing effect in the bedrooms. I followed the manufacturers instructions to install which is simple but not infallible so patience is required. We also have curtains in the bedrooms for complete privacy. This film is not expensive and we managed all our windows in one piece only trimming the edges. If applying to double glazing be careful not to cut into the rubber seals at the edges. I used this on an internal window. Easy to apply and is still in place 18 months later. The window gets sun but ive not noticed any fading. People always commemnt on how lovely it looks when they visit. The colours are vibrant and look beautiful as the sun shines through. But isn't see through with the visible eye. Effective, easy to use, easy to fit, and good value for money.

Fairly easy to fit, although I had a few issues with creases and bubbles however most of this was due to the textures nature of the glass I was sticking to. Overall effect is that of a stained glass window which looks great when the sun is shining through.

I bought this to cover the window at the top of the stairs in my house (the window looks directly into another house) and it worked a treat. The window is on a north facing wall so I wanted something that would give warmth rather than just block the window. I also only took it up 3/4 of the window so I could see the sky at the top. This is sticky backed film and I followed the instructions and it went on easily. A couple of years later I had the window replaced and the film came off without leaving any residue and I could have re-used it but I had no way of storing it without getting lots of hair/dust/fluff on the sticky side. I still have it on the glass in my front door which is south facing and I love that I get all those warm colours projected on the the front hall walls.

Don't get the window too wet, also found it easier to get smooth just using hand rather than squeegee. Awkward (our fault as round window) but hasn't moved at all and looks great.

It's not exactly rocket-science. It's just a coloured plastic sheet. It adheres to glass well (no glues involved, it's just the water molecules & surface tension that hold it against the glass). It even sticks to my 'ripple effect' windows okay (although it is impossible to remove air bubbles in my case as the glass is not actually flat). This particular pattern however looks rather 'artificial' and in order to make it look anything like a leaded stained glass window, you have to position & line up the pattern in your window & possibly trim off quite some of the plastic at the edges creating quite a bit of wastage (depends on the size & shape of your windows obviously). It's good for allowing some light in while at the same time giving privacy as you cant actually see through the coloured plastic film.
