I was a little pessimistic based on some other reviews, but cannot recommend this highly enough. I have redone our front step and the lining around the bottom of the house. It has given a really good qaulity, gloss finish. The paint went on smoothly with no brush marks and dried very quickly. Unfortunately, the dog did step through it while wet, but was able to remove this very easily. I would highly recommend this product, it has been done for around 2 months with no chipping, damage or dullness.

I will always have a tin of this paint on the shelf as it works a treat and dry's quickly and looks great.

Lovely paint to work with - quite velvety and practically glides on. One little 250ml tin completed two fairly largish, old stone front door steps and a smaller door ledge - it really goes a long way. I removed all the old flaking paint from the steps before applying two coats, stirring the paint regularly throughout. I only left an hour between each coat as it dried really quickly. (The steps were in the shade but it was a fairly warm day). Just be careful not to overload your brush as it is a bit 'drippy'. Having more of a terracotta / red brick tone, the finished colour is even better than I could have imagined. I'm impressed with the overall result, especially when it rained the next day and the steps looked like cars do when they've been polished with little bubbles of water resting on the surface!

Love this brand of paint. Took advantage of the lovely weather, and have made my door and step new again. I used Rustins matt white masonry for around the door, then two coats of this black gloss for the steps. Coverage has been amazing, very pleased and feel its great value for money. Just ensure you prepare surfaces properly, and money well spent! Photos of before and after 🙌

Great paint easy to use just needs better packaging

Really pleased with this paint a small tin but did this size area, and covered a rusty red with one coat and dried quick.

Went on ok, two coats needed, a bit drippy and first coeat a bit streaky - admittedly with cheap brushes. Final result is nice and black and shiney, Seems to be wearing well. Hope that helps you.
